This is an outstanding scope at this price! I wondered why is it being offered at this price? The only conclusion I can come up with is that people now days all want an illuminate reticle. But this is a precision scope not a Red Dot. I was issued a Redfield 3-9x40mm AccuTrac scope on the M40A1 with a built in range finder that only went out to 600 yard. This was later replaced by the Unertl 10x32mm scope with a mil dot reticle. Neither had an illuminated reticle and we all shot fine out to a 1000 yards/meters. If you are shooting when it gets dark, to where you might need an illuminated reticle, my question is can you see what is behind your target then? So... you don't need it. Next I've read other reviews that list this scope is good to 600 yards. I can tell you that it can be used out to 1000. It has a magnification range from 3 to12, both my military scopes were less than 12 magnification and were just fine out to 1000 yards/meters. This scope also has a larger objective lens than both of those older military scopes, which allows for a larger exit pupil, which in turn helps provide a better eye relief and clear image as you change the magnification and during lower light conditions. The scope has excellent lens that provide a clear image and has an adjustment for parallax. It is well build and the turrets are solid and precise. One of the most important features to me is the fact that this version has the retical in the first focal plane; meaning that it adjusts with the sighted image, so that the mil reticle can be used to estimate range and movement speed throughout the magnification adjustments. Another plus is that the reticle and the turret adjustments are both in mils. You do not need to convert between metric and the imperial system to adjust your scope and the scope works with maps that have the military grid lines, which divides the map in 1000 meter squares. This is one of the best compact scopes I have found that has many features found on larger and more expense scopes. In my opinion this is the best scope you can purchase for the price! Semper Fi

Ordered this scope because I was looking to replace a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x I had on a 14.5" AR. I have been very underwhelmed with the quality of almost everything Vortex I have ever bought, but I keep giving them more chances because they are cheap and readily available. Never again. The quality of this scope is far superior to any Vortex scope under $1,000. Easily. I have never had glass this clear on a sub $400 scope. Reticle is great at all magnification levels, although the dial is very stiff to turn and there is no throw lever. I am very happy with this scope and will definitely give one of the higher end scopes from US optics a try for a 6.5 creedmoor build I am working on. As other people have mentioned, the dimensions on the tube are somewhat strange and the Leupold Mark AR mount I ordered did not fit this scope. Fortunately I had an Aero precision mount that I took off another rifle and it fits perfectly. The only other negative I have is that this scope is made in China. I should have known for the price, but I thought with a name like U.S. Optics I would be getting American made. (I know Vortex scopes are all made in China) Did my research after I bought the scope and found out that the high end U.S. Optics scopes are all made in the USA. QC is all done here though and it comes with a sheet filled out by hand showing that the scope was inspected thoroughly before it was shipped. For a FFP scope at this price I don't think you can do better.

This scope fills a lot of need for a mid power scope. First of all the glass is excellent for this price range, very clear and no noticed distortion on the edges. The reticle is simple and very good for the ranges I will shoot it. Put it on a 18 inch 6.5 Grendel and it is perfect. A note the only mount I found to fit it was the Aero Precision as the La Rue (Three different models) is spaced to far between the rings and the ADM also. It is lightweight and a great scope for the AR Platform. The lack of illumination is not and issue here for me at all. At this price point it is very hard to beat.

I wanted to scope that was small and lightweight with a reticle that wasn’t too busy, the TS-12X Checked all the boxes.

This is a perfect scope for my secondary rifle. Glass is ultra clear and turrets click with very positive and revise clicks in a very compact package. This was my first US Optics purchase and am very satisfied. I have purchased numerous items from Alex and his team going back probably 15 years and have always been pleased with their product knowledge, prices and customer service. Buy with confidence!

The scope is just what I was wanting for my 18 inch 5.56 rifle . the turrets are good and the tracking is excellent along with the glass . As a side note if your looking for a sun shade the 10x42 super sniper shade will fit just perfect . the service from euro optic was great especially considering the way shipping is going with all the covid stuff it arrived at my house in 5 days from the time I placed the order and that was shipping half way across the country , So my hats off to euro optic for being top notch .

Placed this scope on my CZ 457. Highly recommend it for rimfire. I was stunned by the quality of the glass, way better than I expected. I like how the center dot in the retical allows the shooter to make micro hold overs on small targets, like a know your limits rack. Also of note is how fine the parallax adjustment focuses. Almost as if you can adjust within less of an inch.

This is a sleeper optic in my opinion. The glass is excellent, especially for the money...while it doesn't have the resolution as a Nightforce...it is bang on with Bushnell Elite level glass. What blew me away is the CA control...it is VEEERY good...I've had many higher end optics that have worst CA than this. Turrets are tactile with a little mush but it is nothing terrible. Parallax is bang on perfect and I was actually able to adjust it down to 5 yards .... Included caps work well...they seem better than Butler Creek offerings. Really like the compact design and the no frills MHR reticle...I think this optic will fit a role such as a 16" DMR gas gun.

Love this little scope! I put this on a suppressed 11.5 upper just to see how the upper would group. Super clear with excellent reticle. Turrets track perfectly also. Well worth the price. EuroOptic has the best deal on this scope also. Fast and free shipping is always great.

This scopes features make for a very nice hunting scope. It’s very hard to find a FFP scope that is light with locking turrets and a MIL reticle suited for hunting. This fits the bill. Tracking is great.

First off, I have crummy eyes. I have went through a lot of optics to fine ones that are right for me. I appreciate good quality glass. I recently picked this up, mounting it on a Galil Ace (308) Gen 1. With a Burris P.E.P.R scope mount it barely clears the rear sight and the eye relief is perfect. Like others have mentioned the Glass is very crisp (I run ACOG's and Nightforce on my other rifles) and appreciate decent glass. My only complaint is I wish I new about this scope much sooner, it's a very good scope for the money.

I got this optic to use interchangeably from a 224 Valkyrie to a 260 Remington. It’s very compact with just enough magnification to stretch those calibers out to 1,000 yards. The reticle is simple, not cluttered. Very user friendly. For the price, you really get a great value. It fits my application, and it does so very well.

Outstanding optic. Super clear at all magnifications. All controls are crisp and not at all mushy. Reticle has good relief and eye box edges disappear same way Leupold does. Finish is nice, control notches align, has zero stop. Everything feels quality, yet its very light. Almost a year in now, no problems and would buy again in a heartbeat. Sleeper scope. Getting another from TS line.

I had such high hopes for this little scope but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. I was unable to get a good zero with this scope and after much frustration decided to try a different scope ( a fixed power 6x42 SWFA )on the very same rifle. All of a sudden I was able to get 1” groups at 100 yards with no problems. Replaced the SWFA with the TS-12X MHR and back to shooting 6” groups with the same rifle using the same ammunition on the same day. I guess I will stick to SWFA in future.

Awesome little optic! And when I say little, I mean surprisingly small! Does not affect the power or clarity of the scope though. Although this is an Asian optic, the clarity and quality are great! Buyers should take note though, that the raised part of the 30mm tube is so close together from the objective part to the turret, that I couldn't find a one piece mount locally to fit the optic. Some people have said the adm and aero one piece mounts will work, but I couldn't find either of those locally to try, so I went with Warne mountain tech 2 piece rings on my 6mm ARC build and I'm happy with it. For a 1 piece mount to work, the outside dimensions of the actual rings will have to be less than 4" outside to outside. 👍

Went through countless reviews and spent hours looking at the specs on finding a compact scope for a compact rig. Having a 18” barrel, I was hoping to keep everything nice and tight. Didn’t want a long and protruding scope that didn’t balance. The TS-12 on the Bergara SP 308 is a good pairing.

For the money this little guy cannot be beat--maybe the ultimate rimfire scope in my opinion. Parallax is adjustable far lower than most others, it's compact, lightweight, and with a very useful magnification range. Mounted with Warne Mountain Tech rings on my new 10/22 build and it's perfect.

I moved to this scope because of the weight and short length. It did not disappoint and so far works beautifully! Clean audible clicks on the turrets, a firm but not sticky parallax adjustment, and an easily adjustable magnification ring. The glass is clear and crisp, but does show some fish-eye around the very most perimeter(also worth noting is this fish eye effect doesn’t seem to increase much at magnification and has less fish eye at 12x than my cheapy scope had at 8x). The reticle is truly hair thin at 3x, but becomes more legible around 6x. Really happy with this scope for the money and am looking forward to using it more!

USO 3-12x compact scope in a very affordable price range. Better than expected optical quality, only complaint being lack of sharpness around the edges. Lots of telescopic power and sharp, clear image in a very light and compact size. I have two now and they are fitted to my "mountain" rifles.

Glass clarity is impressive at this price. But I found the reticule to be a bit hard to see in low light. I guess I’ve been spoiled by illuminated optics. It’s on an AR15 and it’s overall short length means I can use some high height rings instead of a cantilever mount. I just need to buy new scope rings. It did not fit with medium height.

Ultra quality scope. No illumination is NO problem. I won't be using it in dimly lit situations anyway. The pristine glass along with the FFP feature make it a steal, even at MSRP. The only problem I encountered is using a cantilever scope mount. It would not work with my Midwest Industries QD 30mm mount, however it did work with my Vortex Sport cantilever mount. Not a deal breaker, but for those looking to purchase, be aware. Otherwise, the price and quality of this scope are outstanding and well worth your hard-earned dollars.

I put this on my bergara bmr and it’s great. The one knock I have against it is the eye relief is really short. Even mounting back as far as possible I need to move my head up really close to it. Would recommend for rimfires where that’s not an issue

Good scope and a good value. The size is perfect for a smaller rifle, such as rimfire or a SBR. As mentioned by others, plan on separate rings, not a one piece unit. Nice machining quality and locking turrets. Parallax function works well. I have three of them now.

This is an awesome little optic and I mean little. I got 2 of them one for a Recce inspired general purpose 16" carbine and the other is in a similarly set up 22 LR. The only down side would be the reticle is pretty thin at 3X and would make precision shots on small game nearly impossible at 5 or 6X it's fine. I don't mind I have other 22s to hunt with and I set this up as a trainer.

Well packaged and arrived as scheduled. Affordable optic and gets the job done. Clear glass, plenty of lighting. Turret and parallax knobs are smooth. Yes you can order the Chinese branded version but I prefer to deal with an established company if I ever need assistance.

Great Scope. Like the other reviews have said, it's crystal clear. I appreciate the compact profile. Shooting it on a 308 SBR and so far is holding up well. Great for those sub 300 yard shots. Compact, Light Weight, FF1 with crystal clear optics 3-12x scope, with a great name behind it and at a great price. Wish I new about this scope earlier.

I was looking for a good scope and found no bad reviews for the US Optics line. This 3x-12 is exactly what I was lookin for my 22, to shoot 50-200 yards with and this scope did not disappoint me a bit. The glass is clear and I love the reticle design. I have it mounted and zeroed, and did a tracking test and it was spot on. I would certainly recommend this scope to anyone as it it many different roles. Oh and before I forget, the people at EuroOptic are wonderful to work with and shipping is fast! I will be back. Also just bought the 5X-25X for my 308 and am looking forward to a good review on that one as well.

The function and optical clarity is great. However, the scope is very short and I was unable to use any one piece mount. I tried to use two Sphur mounts, Tactical and Hunting, and a Geissele. The spacing on the tube would not fit in the space allowed. Great scope as the price….but you may need two separate rings not a one piece mount. Eurooptic was great as usual.

Was a big USO fan back in the day. Seems like the company has recently gotten back on track. When Euro Optic sent the email out they were discounting this lower end, lower power optic, I thought what the hell I'll try one for a 17 HMR I have. Glad I did, NO it's not a Schmidt and Bender, or a upper end Night Force but for the money was really impressed. Held zero no issues and the turrets are crisp. I hate the expression punches above it weight, but for the price it really does...Great scope for the money. The compact size was a big plus for a rim fire or AR type platform.

I have two of these, one on a FWB 300 Universal airgun and the other on my FX Crown MK II .30 caliber airgun. This model scope can focus to 30 feet and is very durable. The glass is excellent and the FFP reticle is perfect for my use. These are fantastic scopes for the cost. Zero problems, super fast shipping and a wonderful company to deal with. Fair exchange all around.

Excellent scope. Only 9.6 long and it's bright, sharp with good crosshairs. The side focus helps this. Sighted in easy on my AR with nice turret detents. It's usually harder to mount a short scope, but this one was easy on an AR. No cantilever mount was necessary.

Scope is exactly what I ordered and wanted. Mounting on a Ruger Precision 308. Not a single mark or ding on the product or even the box, its pristine!! EuroOptic has the best prices around and you can always find what you want. Shipping was timely, even showed up a day earlier than expected.

This is an outstanding scope for the price. Very clear glass. Precise adjustments. Short and light and perfect for my AR-10 build. Would absolutely buy again. For the details: Excellent Fit and Finish. Really first class. Positive clicks with repeatable settings. Eye focus is the rear adjust euro-style that I prefer. It works well, if a little coarse in adjustment. Eye box is perfectly acceptable if just a little tight--but not a surprise with this scope design. Side parallax adjustment unnecessary, IMO. Works just fine, though. First focal plane is a wasted feature on this scope because it results in a very fine reticle at 3x that is essentially unusable. Reticle is quite nice between 8-12x, though. So, if you are looking for an excellent value scope, this is it. Eurooptic is a great source, too!

The compact size of this scope is unrivaled! There’s nothing on the market even close in this footprint. I bought it for a 6.5 Grendel pistol to hunt out to 300 yds. Glass is clear, comparable to my Sig Tango4 and Athlon ARES BTR gen 1 (which are both surprisingly good). Turrets are very audible, not the most tactile, but definitely nothing to complain about. There are no shifts in POA and reticle sub-tensions while changing magnifications. Reticle is very fine and looks great at all magnification levels. The eye box is nothing to write home about, but still plenty for me. I think that’s just one of the inevitable trade offs in a scope this compact.

Great scope, at 3x the reticle is a little thin, but at 9 and above it is just right. Glass is very good and turrets work well. Wish it included a throw lever. Overall great value.

July 4, 2023

Eurooptic is superb! This piece of equipment is much better than I expected for the price! Adjustments are positive and not overly tight like some. Glass is quite a bit better than a d-back HP. Subtensions are tiny at low magnification but the bold reticle is more than adequate out to 300 yds for hunting purposes. This scope is short! So short that it almost necessitates use of a rail instead of ring/mount combos where the position is fixed. This is not a terribly big deal but some may not want the added weight of a rail. Eye relief for me was very good. I put this on a Howa mini so it was perfect size for that. All in all, this was an exceptional value for the dollars spent! Superb packaging from USO and Eurooptic!

Tiny tiny tiny... And Chinese. Decent clarity and turrets for sure but at a cost. So shorty hat mounting options are limited. If you are tall you may find eye relief tricky to achieve as ocular is short and a long lop will push it away. Although reticle is crisp and glass is nice, inscribed graduation labels are teeny. I love it on a squirrel gun. I'd spend the money on the Japanese trijicon next time

July 4, 2021

The optic itself is great, clear, good, good resolution. However, it is very short. I was unable to use a Sphur Tactical mount, Sphur Hunting style mount, or a Geissele One piece mount. The area on the scope between the bell and the focus area is to short to fit in the area allowed. Maybe the Sphur short mount would work, but plan on separate rings. For the price hard to beat. Just be aware that it probably won’t fit a one piece mount….non of mine anyway.
