Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 Dead-Hold BDC Riflescope DBK-04-BDC Showroom Demo

Showroom Demo? Looked to be new in the box! Still wrapped in plastic, with all tags and paperwork included! Not a scratch or blemish on it! Reason I bought this scope is that I have a new, light weight, carry rifle in .243 Winchester for the woods and hills. 99.9% of shots I'll ever take with it will be within 100 yards...because it's near impossible to get a shot that far in the terrain I hunt, or even 50 yards for that matter. To that end, it will meet the purpose beautifully. Having said that, was very slightly disappointed in the image quality at longer ranges. The glass quality is very good, and images seem crisp and bright at closer distances. But there is no parallex adjustment, so images at longer range seem a little fuzzy. But again, that's not my intended purpose. With the Demo discount I got an outstanding price on a very good scope. Throw in the outstanding Vortex warranty, and this was an unbeatable bargain! I'm very happy!

Vortex is quality and has a great product line. Mirst time using a second focal plane, this is plenty for a short range rifle.

Beautiful scope. "Showroom Demo" is more accurately "showroom-quality" as there is not a hint of this scope being touched before it arrived. Included amber lens covers which are also completely unblemished. Looks awesome and works perfectly on my Tikka 30-06.
