Bright clear glass that looks better than it probably should for the money. The 30mm tube should allow for 100 minutes of elevation but you only get 60 or so. The clicks are a little mushy but serviceable. The turrets do not go in and out or up and down however you want to look at it. A little weird but again servicable. The reticle has 36 minutes of hash marks that are only viewable at about half zoom or less. Scope comes with a sunshade and bikini covers that stretch to accomodate the added length of the shade tube. The turrets zero by way of a coin slot plastic screw cap instead of the much more user friendly spring loaded pop up kind. At the 1000yd steel range, I was able to get hits with the scope strapped to a Brux bbld 308 Remy 700 all the way to 1000. Due to getting a 0 moa base in a 15 moa blister pack (not from EuroOptic). I had to use the 36 minute hash mark to get the hit at 1000, thus demonstrating the usefulness of the moa hash marks. I think this is an amazing scope for the price. I would like to have seen popup zero reset and a 100 minutes of elevation adjustment but i guess those features had to be sacrificed to get to this price point.

Excellent value for price. I traded some expensive scopes to get three of these for varmint guns. Easily able to see (excellent glass) and hit (good adjustment repeatability) ground squirrels (3"x1-1/2") at 500 yds and beyond with 0.3 MOA rifle. Very accurate reticle for hold over, hold off. So-so turrets for dialing. Does not count revolutions, stops are mushy, index not perfectly aligned, no zero stop, no illumination and parallax is difficult because it adjusts too 'fast' at longer ranges, but it does adjust down to 30 yds nicely. There simply is no other choice with equal capability at this price point. About the only discipline where this scope won't work well is PRS where loosing track of elevation change is all too easy.

Excellent scope mounted on my Savage 110 Tactical using vortex medium height rings. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I wish the turrets had a more positive click feel to them instead of their mushy feel. With the sun shade on (included), the bikini covers don't stretch enough to cover the scope - says that will work but I'm afraid I'll break the elastic sides of the covers. Getting sub 1 MOA from this rifle / scope combo in 308 using SMK 168gr bullets with hand-loads. I only have a 300yd range so that's as far as I've pushed it. It's a very good deal at this price point and more than suitable for the rifle I've put it on. I will likely buy another for another similar rifle I have. I don't part with my money easily, so that says a lot from me ;)

Great low end FFP rifle scope.. I found the adjustments accurate with solid clicks. Make sure to adjust the diopter to eliminate ghosting at 24x.(I bought 6x24x50 moa) Scope comes with sunshade and life time warranty.Flip dust covers are on you.The E2 reticle is fine and a little thin, but I didn't lose the reticle at any power setting. I'm 1 1/2 moa at 500true yards with Savage LRH in 6.5 creedmoor. Screaming Value in a FFP rifle scope.

For the money it’s a great product. I wish the turrets were a little stiffer and more defined in the movement but once again it’s not an expensive product to begin with. Great clarity up to about 20 power then starts to develope a slight grayness.

Using this scope on a entry level deer rifle to plink out to 1500 yds in push you sideways winds. This is not like the scopes we had as kids. Very good reticle. Lots of up and sideway adjustment + when you run out of adjustment dialing you can add more by using the hashmarks. Even the wind hold overs are right on. Have used it for many rounds on a .264.

Bought 2 of the vortex diamondback scopes for some 22lr to start in NRL 22 competition. Easy to sight in. Scopes were accurate and track well. Glass is clear. Turrets a little mushy, but tolerable. For this price point, you can’t go wrong
Eurooptics RULES!

As always Vortex comes through! It's a lot of scope for a bolt action .22 but I will never need to upgrade it. Maybe it was the Indian or the Arrow the other day but 5 rounds in a 1/2" at 50 yards was pretty good. From that we reached out to 100 yards using the Christmas tree reticle and continued to drill 4" steel with no problems whatsoever.

Very nice scope for the money. Bright and clear in all magnifications. The reticle is easy to read and interpret.
I just wish it was illuminated center only.....but for $400 it is a good buy for someone wanting to get into longrange shooting.....I will say this scope made me a much better shot....the center open space at full magnification makes 200 yrd shots very easy for me.

Exceptional quality glass with rugged durability. Vortex has outdone itself with the Diamondback series. The glass is crystal clear and the EBR-2C reticles make ranging and windage adjustments a breeze (no pun intended). I decided to first test the optic on a Barrett M99 in .416. I used Barrett high rings and was amazed at how well this held up after multiple 500 yard shots. I’ve tested other optics on the .416 at a higher price range and this was best in class. The value for what you get is 5 stars. My only criticism is trying to read the scope line at night. This is definitely an optic designed for daylight only and I would have loved an illuminated reticle. In all fairness, at this price for the quality you’re getting it would be unfair to ask for the illuminated reticle. It did take a little time to get the elevation turret lined up with zero. The scope did come with protective bikini covers. The side parallax adjustment is wonderful. I am yet to test this on a hunt, however, it is a perfect optic for the range. Easy target acquisition at 500 yards.

Already have the 4-16 and was so impressed with the quality I purchased 2 of the 6-24 to replace some lesser quality optics. The Vortex DBT cannot be beat in its class for being a first focal plane optic, the reticle is awesome, the turrets are the best in its class and the lifetime warranty is a no brainer. Vortex is a top notch company and Eurooptic’s shipping for this product was fantastic!

Great scope for the money. Yes, this isn't quite as nice as the Vortex PST FFL scopes that I have on a longer range hunting and target rifles, but FOR THE MONEY, this scope meets ALL my expectations. Overall length is reasonable, it mounted up well, goes through the tracking test properly, the turrets are easy to reset after initial zeroing. This is also the FIRST scope that I've ever had that matched the bore sighting within inches of where it needed to be -- I wouldn't have even needed to boresight it. I have it mounted on a Ruger American Rimfire Target rifle using Vortex tactical rings. The scope bikini covers that are included work well, but I bought Butler Creek covers (# 21920 for eyepiece and size 40 for objective) since I'm so used to them on my other rifles and I don't have to later hunt for the bikini cover if I've taken it off.
I am so pleased with this scope that I went ahead and purchased another just like it for a CZ 457 rimfire rifle though with dovetail rings for that application.

Good looking scope for the money, I would have given 5 stars, but I haven't got to shoot with it yet. As far as fit and finish, it's excellent for the money.

Awesome scope for the price! Glass is clear, finish was perfect, scope adjustments are positive, just an excellent scope. Don’t let the price fool you, buy it and have zero regrets, Vortex’s warranty covers it all!

Best bang for the buck in rifle scopes. Eurooptic had the best price. Scope is clear, reticle is clear, first focal plane makes long range shots quicker at any power than turning the dial. I can hit a 9" gong at 1000 yards.

I got this scope a few weeks ago for my 22 trainer. For a max range of 300 yards for what I'm using it for its really the perfect optic. Glass isn't great but plenty good enough for what it cost.only reason I gave it a 4 star is I think they could have added a zero stop. But its not a deal breaker for me really
