This is my second Razor HD Gen II E. I liked the first one so much I bought another for a different rifle. It’s a little on the heavy side but built like a tank to take abuse. The glass and eye box are excellent. Quality is on par with more expensive scopes in its class.

The standard for 1-6 LPVOs

The Vortex Razor Gen II 1-6 is probably the best 1-6 for the money. It has great glass, an amazing warranty and the eye box is very forgiving even at max magnification. I would definitely recommend this optic to anyone not entirely constrained by price. Are there more affordable Vortex products available? Yes. But none that balance Price and performance as well as this optic. Buy with confidence. Will not disappoint. Wish they came out with one in black. Only suggestion to Vortex.

Amazing glass but a little heavy for a 1-6 in my opinion. Also, the zoom could be a little more smooth to operate. But man the target is clear through this scope. And red dot is very bright.

If you want a bomb proof LPVO with fantastic glass, good eye relief, forgiving eyebox, and Aimpoint bright illuminated reticle this is it. To get better than the Razor Gen II HD-E you need to spend over double the money to get marginally better.
The illumination knob is well thought out. Turn it off between settings and stow the rifle. When things go kinetic turn it on and lock it in the on position. The reticle is simple to use and the bright red dot is as fast as an RDS.
Did I mention excellent glass? The scope is really easy to get behind. Eyebox is generous and if you need to do work around vehicles or barricades you can do so. Eye relief is also really good and stays consistent from 1x to 6x.

Very nice glass. Truly can be used as a red dot on 1x. However, its a heavy little lpvo. I think if you save up for the 1-10x FFP option it would be a better choice overall comparing the weights and capabilities. Primary arms 1-8x lpvo is a very competitive option as well.
