Description

Dominate the competition with the Razor Gen III 6-36x56mm Riflescope by Vortex! It delivers an excellent balance of magnification and field of view thanks to its industry leading optical system, as well as first-rate resolution, contrast, and clarity. The Razor Gen III comes equipped with Vortex’s advanced L-Tec+ Zero stop System which is composed of captive parts and only one screw set. This system allows the user to make precise adjustments to windage and elevation in the field with a micro-adjust dial that provides infinite zero setting positions between clicks for optimal accuracy and a perfect return to zero. In addition, the Razor Gen III is equipped with a glass etched, EBR-7D MOA illuminated reticle in the first focal plane. The EBR-7D reticle is composed of a precise .1 MOA free-floating center dot, that sits atop a “Christmas tree” structure of hash marks and holdover points. These hash marks and hold over points are exceptional at compensating for wind drift and bullet drop at extended ranges, but can also be used to acquire a lead on a moving target as well as gauging the range on a target or object of known height.

Features of the Razor Gen III 6-36x56mm Riflescope:

  • L-Tec+ Zero Stop System – Allows the user to make adjustments to elevation and windage in the field with a micro-adjust dial that provides infinite zero setting positions between clicks for optimal accuracy and a perfect return to zero
  • EBR-7D Reticle – First focal plane, illuminated reticle composed of a precise .1 MOA free-floating center dot, that sits atop a “Christmas tree” structure of hash marks and holdover points. These hash marks and hold over points can be used to compensate for bullet drop and wind drift, as well as acquire leads on moving targets and get the range on targets of a known height

Great scope! I have used many different scope brands over the last 50 years of shooting and recently purchased the Vortex Gen III 6x36-56 to mount on my 6.5 CM PRS rifle. I also have the Vortex Gen II 4.5x27-56 mounted on a 6mm CM PRS rifle to compare against. The new Gen III 6x36-56 is an amazing scope for the money with some great improvements over the Gen II. I've had it to the range several times now and absolutely love the ease of setting the zero stop. The glass clarity/quality is also amazing even at high power and the tracking is perfect when dialing up with return to zero being dead-on. The EBR-7D reticle is uncluttered and easy to make quick adjustments on the fly. The only con would be the clicks when dialing up are not as crisp (tactile) as I would like. This scope is far better than others in this price point and is close to the Tangent Theta which is $2,000+ more than this scope. If you are into long range shooting/prs matches, you will love this scope!

The deal for AD/LE, too good to pass up my father has one and absolutely loves it. Just took a 300WM out to 1000+ with this scope. First round impact after inputting our scope dope.

My second 6x36. After Vortex took care of the turret issue and delete the locking feature on the elevation, it's solid

What a terrific scope! A side by side comparison of my NF ATACR shows very little difference in clarity and light transmission (to my eyes). The turrets are better than the GenII scopes, with solid clicks. Zero stop is different and easier to set than GenII. Vortex hit this out of the park!

Great Scope. Very clear optics. Could even read notes on 100 yard targets written in fine sharpie. Controls and turrets are crisp. Shot amazing groups with my 6.5 CM yesterday. Vortex got it right on this scope, even better than the Gen II which I love and own a few.
