Unbelievable glass at this price. Got one for a Ruger Precision Rimfire, and within an hour of it's arrival I ordered two more to replace scopes on other rimfires. I'm accustomed to the kind of glass in my Nightforce, Leupold Mark 6, along with Vortex Razor and PST Gen II. That being the case, the Nikon Prostaff 5 and Nikon Rimfire scopes I'm replacing made me feel like I was looking through a paper towel tube. This scope is more what I'm used to...bright, crisp imaging. The compact size and giant magnification range make the rifles they're going on far more versatile. With the Vortex VIP warranty, you really can't go wrong here.

Purchased this scope to replace a Weaver scope on a M&P-15; the Weaver model being one of their high-end scopes.
This Vortex is an amazing scope for the money. The Weaver is not even comparable.
Currently I have this Vortex Strike Eagle, a Vortex HST, and a Vortex PST. I also have Nikon Monarch, Nikon Prostaff, Nikon Buckmaster, Leupold VX-II and Leupold VX-III scopes. The 3 Vortex scopes are equal to if not better than the Leupold VX-III.
I am sold on Vortex, for the money Vortex is the best scope I have ever purchased.
Customer service at Eurooptics is 5-Star. The first Strike Eagle that Eurooptics attempted to send to me was lost by the USPS. After 3 days of the package tracking showing the scope at the same USPS location I called Eurooptics. Eurooptics immediately sent me another scope and expedited the shipping. No hassle, no waiting, no fuss - just great service.

Some reviews suggest this glass isn't as good as "x". Some don't like it because second focal plane. But the glass is really good. No it is not a razor. But it is good glass, very clear. FFP is clearly desirable in certain contexts, but not necessary for everything. The reticle is great, and illumination is superb. The biggest thing, for me, is the magnification range. 3-18 is perfect for a variety of cartridges and setups for close up to plenty of distance/magnification. I use these on mid range cartridges or shorter barrels. I'm thrilled with performance. And you cannot beat these features at the Euro Optic price. My concern is since these are discontinued, stock will run out. Vortex warranty is there is any problem. But I've had none. This is a great scope!

Bright clear optics .Nice readable understandable reticle.Good instructions.
Only quirk is the set screw for the turrets. Looked like a torx far at bottom but adjust with allen wrench. They did include allen wrench so brain fart on my part not to lok for it.

I put this scope on a RPR .22 lr and it is an absolute blast! For the price, you can't beat the range, clarity, and adjustability of this scope! The reticle makes it easy to shoot consistent groups at your typical range, while the added moa gives you the ability to take some longer range shots for some added fun. You can't go wrong with this scope! I will be coming back for another when I purchase my next rifle.

These scopes are awesome for the money. 300 dollas with great quality and vip warranty. Very nice 6x zoom. Glass is very good and really like exposed turrets. Like it so much when firt one came i mounted it up and immediately ordered a second. Mount on gun took first shot no bore sight of any kind at 70 yards 1.5" to the left and 1" low cant beet that. Glad they take the time to make sure scopes are center from the factory. I would buy another in a heart beet.

I purchased the Strike Eagle for a new built AR-10. I’m a big fan of Vortex. I shot the 308 at Range today so I’ll admit I’m still getting used to it. I got an excellent price at EuroOptic and to have a med-long range optic with illuminated reticle with such high quality glass & VIP Warranty was a rare find

It's the best long-range rifle scope at this price point. Great glass, reticle, power, 30mm tube, and even has a zero stop. Most riflescopes at $300 don't come with a zero stop so it only adds to the value you are getting with this scope.

The scope is one of two Vortex scopes I own. I also have the 8-24X50 and I like them both. I also own a leupold 4-12x50 and a Ziess 6.5-24x50. This scope is every bit as good as the other Vortex and the Leupold. It is not the same power or quality as the Ziess but it is a third of the price. At 100 yards and 200 yards it is crystal clear and you do not need a spotting scope to see the bullet holes in your target. It has the side focus and the exposed turrets plus it adjusts and tracks just fine. If I did not have more scopes than rifles I would buy a couple more at this price. The only issue I have is when I look through the scope I see some black stuff floating around inside the glass. I have used a scope brush and lense cleaner because I thought it was on the outside of the lenses. It tends to move around with the recoil. I did not notice it until I fired the rifle the first time.

I enrolled in AFI's long range shooting class and needed a budget scope on the quick to upgrade my 1949 M-70 30-06. This scope fit the bill! The old '06 was hitting MOA targets at 1000 yards without issue. Extremely easy to zero the turrets with precise clicks for windage and elevation adjustments. Shooting a box drill at 100 yards and it went right back to zero! I was so impressed I bought a 2nd one for my 1956 M-70 in .270 to make switching between rifles second nature!

A 3-18x for $300 is hard to beat anyway, but add it the Strike eagle glass and it is a super high value. The reticle is pretty busy; center crosshairs are nice and fine, but the holdover points are a little thicker than I would prefer. Eye relief is a little critical, but not too bad if you have a consistent cheek weld. Illumination will wash out in broad daylight, but is only actually needed in lowlight conditions and it works fine.

This is a great scope for the price, don't be afraid to buy one. I saw a review on YouTube and I was concerned about the clarity on its higher magnification, while not perfect the clarity at 18x it is extremely good for $299.

Grate scope for the money. I have it on a CZ 457 at one 22LR. I am shooting at 50 yards to 300 yards. This scope has 120-MOA. This scope is a winner with what ever you put it on.

I own a razor and several other brands of great glass. This scope for the money is better in many ways than any similarily prices scopes that I own. There are some complaints on reviews of the eyebox being a little unforgiving but it doesn't seem bad to me. My wife who always has issues threw this up and didn't have any problems with shadowing on the edges. I put this on a 17hmr and it is a lot of scope for this rifle but it is great glass and tracks perfectly. Nice when you can sight in a rifle in 5 shots and be ready to go shooting. The first real group was 10 rounds all touching.

I absolutely love this scope. I put it on a Savage 12 .308 with 26 inch heavy barrel. WOW!!...puting holes in holes at 100 yards. Just about half price here too. Get one, you won't be disappointed.

Very good scope for the price. Not a high end scope but its not meant to be. It is a great entry level or budget friendly scope for someone who doesn't want to take out a loan to buy an optic. I now have a few optics and they all can't be $$$$ optics and this fit the bill. Glass is good, turrets are fair and the reticle is great. Shame it has been discontinued.
