no rugged and extensive test was completed, just looking off back patio i had a crystal clear full image and easy touch focusing. vortex passed the "new buyers" test and maybe on to the 15x 56 model.

Great glass. Very clear, great at low light conditions. The magnification is manageable even with out a tripod and they are nice to carry.

Using for Precision Rifle matches. Glass is great all the way to the edge and, based on looking through other high end optics, the clarity punches far above it’s weight class. Vortex customer service is the best in the industry so buy with confidence that any problem, even if you caused it, will be resolved quickly under the lifetime warranty.

Used these this past weekend at a 22LR Rimfire match. Mounted on a tripod for spotting hits on steel out to 200 yards. Excellent clarity, no eye strain as with a spotting scope. Field of view was great, able to see multiple targets at the same time. Highly recommend!
