Really Love the ebr 2d reticle plus this optic was on sale!! Put this on a 6.5 grendel ar15 build. I wanted to keep the optic small but still be effective out to 800. It fits the bill perfectly. The best thing about the scope is it's one you keep for life. Rifles come and go but a great optic you keep forever

Fantastic scope for the money. Glass is clear at all magnifications. Clicks are audible and precise. Zero stop is perfect. The EBR 2D reticle is great. But you may want a throw lever as the magnification adjustment is stiff.

Solid BUY. great reticle. great savings. it does not make me more accurate. but i can clearly see my hits without having to walk to my target. super great quality glass. tested this against all my mid range glass and its above those.

Good glass for the price. I love the EBR-2D reticle. I put one on my .22 for PRS practice, great having the numbers away from the center. Very open and easy to use for holdovers.
For PRS and long range use I have a couple Vortex Razor Gen II 4.5-27 on my .260's that I love, the Viper is a great value at 1/3 the price.
I like the Viper so much I bought 2 more, one for when my wife starts shooting a 6 Creed I am buying for her, one to replace a 3x9 Leopold on my .270 for hunting.

My first Vortex and won't be my last. Excellent clarity and ease of use. Europtics was also a first and I must say they have been excellent. Best price in the internet and fast/free shipping with no issues. Can't speak to customer service because there have been no issues which in itself, speaks to how good they are.

Having tried the first iteration of the Viper PST and, having failure after failure, I don't have high hopes for this scope. I certainly wouldn't have paid full price for it. At the close-out price and knowing it will be repaired or replaced when it fails (likely not if) I decided it could work for recreational use. As of mounting and one range trip...the glass is quite clear and tracking is good. I do like the reticle but, would rather have it in a second focal plane model as it is worthless at low magnification. This scope has the opportunity to redeem vortex for me, time and use will tell.

For the money you can’t beat this FFP scope. I own 4 of them, that’s how much I like them. Zero stop Is alway a life saver. Also the lit reticle is great for that last light shot.

This is the second vortex viper pst for me. I haven't mounted it yet, but if it is as good as the first one, it will fill the bill quite well. The warranty from vortex is as good as it gets as well.
