Since my last review above, I’ve built a trainer 22LR to go with my 300 Win Mag. Both are 700 footprint Rifles. I also have a third Precision Build. All of them have a Viper PST Gen II. That right there should tell you how impressed I am with this product. I chose EBR-2C because it is the perfect blend between old school Mil Dots that I grew up on, and more feature rich Reticles like the Tremor. I don’t like having too much in the Reticle, just enough to comfortably ring steel at long distances. I did the mile with a basic Mil Dot years ago. The Viper PST Gen II has other features that I wanted. The hard Zero Stop being the main thing. I’ve got larger hands so the turrets are perfect in size and that tactile feel is spot on. It’s better than the Leupold Optics I grew up on.
As for EuroOptic, the Cost of the Optic for what you get is insane. Their Customer Service, what little I need of it, it’s spot on. Only gripe is if you have UPS My Choice for enhanced security like I do, it still comes to your house instead of a UPS Access Point. We’ve been having Packages stolen off porches in my area which is what I advocated with EuroOptic to be able to pick it up but they didn’t budge even though pickup required a valid ID to do so. If that’s my only gripe, I’d have to say I can’t complain. They’ve got a really good system and it obviously works for them. Dude, that shopping is crazy quick too. I always plan for a week and I’m always getting notices like 2 days after ordering that it’s out for delivery. That’s just nuts. Whatever it is they’re doing despite the crazy times we’re in, dude it’s working.
When the day comes to upgrade to the Razor, I’m coming back to EuroOptic for that.

The Viper PST Gen 2 is my go to scope for long range rifles. I have 8 of them mixed between MOA and MRAD and all are outstanding. EuroOptic has had the best price on these making them super affordable and great value for the money.

Great scope and even a greater price. I was able to buy the Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 for a cheaper here at eurooptic then anywhere else. I did my research and eurooptic was the best price around. I’m very happy with the scope. I definitely recommend the scope even if you have to pay full price for it. It’s a great buy.

First let me say that eurooptic was great shipping was fast and received faster that expected. Item arrived well packed and in perfect shape. I have since installed the scope on my rifle and works as expected. Vortex is known for their excellent warranty and service. In fact I had a couple of questions and called the customer service line a couple of times and they where more than helpfull.

For the money it is hard to beat. I have a razor AMG and there is a real difference. However for most practical use this will do the same job.

I don't think you can do better at this price. Clarity is good at higher magnification, reticle is clear and very functional, overall build quality is great. I'd buy another one if I need it without hesitation and I'd buy it from Eurooptic. This is the 1st place I check when I'm looking for glass. The service here is as good as it gets. Thank you

I knew what I was getting, have plenty of Vortex scopes. What I didn't count on was the battery cover being cross-threaded on. It was difficult to remove and I buggered up the finish on the battery cap pretty good. Once I got it off, the threads weren't severely damaged and it threaded back on correctly and is now fine. This is on Vortex, not EuroOptic. A little touch-up paint will make the finish OK, if I care enough to even do that, which I probably don't.

Ordered this scope for my Browning Hunter LR 6.5 PRC. This is my second one from Eurooptic. Great scope at an amazing price price. No issue with the scope and as always great service from Eurooptic. Purchased the scope Monday afternoon and it arrived Wednesday evening. Can't beat that. Looks forward to getting another one if their still in stock.

This optic was fantastic. Package was great too.
Have it mounted on a Bergara b14 HMR in 6.5CM and this thing is solid. Have it mounted on med vortex PMR rings and a seekins 20moa rail. I also like the illumination feature.

Vortex is my go to brand for high quality affordable optics. I also have high end optics as well such as Night Force, US Optics, Steiner, Trijicon and Swarovski and to be honest my favorites are the Vortex and Night Force. They seem to just have the best glass , more light in the tube, and the best reticle for my needs followed by the Trijicon Acogs. Not a fan of the Trijicon traditional scopes but I am a fan of the Acog line, the RMRs, their MRO line and the cross bow line are great.
I can't think of anything that has been an issue since geeting my first Viper PST 7 years Ago. I currently have three of them one is a gen 1 and two are the gen 2 optics. When I need a new high quality optic and can't afford to go with a Night Force, Vortex is the only option to go with.
In my experience over the past 7 years of using Vortex I have not had any issues with their red dots or magnified optics. They are bright and clear with sharp details. I have also seen Viper PST mounteđ on a 308 deer rifle that fell out of a deer stand one year. The only damage to the scope was a couple of scratches and a broken scope ring that cracked the base where the base screw engages the rifles optics rail. But thats it and its still in use on my friend's deer rifle.
I will say that I have not been able to actually compare my Viper PSTs to my Night Force NSXs at distances over 300 yards simply because of the fact that I do not have access to very long ranges or for that matter even shoot those distances. Since I am living in a major metropolitan area these days. But if I was still living in the mountains I would probably have a need to shoot in excess of 300 yards and would definitely have access to a range that would have those distances available to shoot.
I would definitely purchase more of these scopes if I could. Its a shame that they are on closeout. I am interested in seeing what it gets replaced with, along with the features available on the new glass.

I love this scope, especially for my 22 competitions. The reticle is fast and easy to see. I had the MOA version and bought this MRAD so I am on the same page as everyone else at the matches. Tracks well.

This is the best scope I have ever owned. What you dial on this scope is what you get. It tracks perfectly and the clarity is great even in low light. Planning to buy another one of these or the strike eagle for another rifle. Some people have complained about the 2C reticle, personally the position of the numbers inside rather than outside helps me to read it faster and doesn’t interfere with shooting. However I can understand why someone might prefer 7C over the old 2C. I haven’t had any problems holding over shots or shooting one ragged hole. The clicks on the turrets are super positive and the markings easy to read though they don’t always lineup exactly perfect you will always know what position it’s in. Two complaints, the lens covers included belong in a 99 cent store and it is too difficult to turn the knob for the illumination on the reticle.

I’m a believer of Vortex Optics, especially after this. I began with the Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 on a previous build. Liked that optic, but it left a bit to be desired. Difference between that Optic and the PST Gen II is night and day.
Large Turrets, much more tactile feedback when dialing, and way better glass quality. I chose the EBR-2C over the EBR-7C due to sale price, and the fact the Diamondback Tactical has the 2C winch I came from. The 2C and 7C similar to one another with just a single difference from what I can see. The 30mm Tube meant I didn’t have to change my PMR Rings, which was another factor in choosing this Optic. Once mounted to my Precision Rifle, I took notice to another thing. The Eye Relief is noticeably farther away than the Diamondback Tactical, which is another plus. The Zero Stop Feature is an asset if you’re going to compete like I’m getting back into doing. Impressed as I am with this Optic, I am ordering the 3-15x44 EBR-2D MRAD version of this Optic to go on my 5.56 SPR. The Glass quality in this Optic is better than the old Leupold Mil-Dot Optics I became very familiar with between 2001 and 2011. Coming back into Precision Rifles, I’m glad to have selected Vortex based on their product quality, Customer Service, and second to one Warranty. EuroOptic is my choice because of the sale prices, and their Customer Service. The customer experience from both has made me a believer sure.

Amazing clarity for aging eyes and love the zero reset option. This paired to a 6.5 MVP LC provided half mil 3 round group on first 100 yard BZO attempt and after getting it dialed in prior with a SiteLite SL-100. Between the Vortex lifetime warranty to back their products and EuroOptics amazing customer service and support to narrow down the best tool for the job, I couldn't be happier with my first purchase from EuroOptic. Was so nice to actually get a real knowledgeable person to talk to before I made my purchase. They've definitely earned all my future purchases. Thanks!
