This is my newest of 4 viper scopes. Turns out it's the best yet! Looks awesome to start with. Moving the illuminated reticle dial is huge bit the big tactical turrets also really stand out. Glass is very good and clear to maximum magnification. Turrets have more range in 1 revolution and it's easier to see the lines compared to first gen
Lastly the zero stop is much better. The old style works but you have to watch it to get on zero, this one stops right on the mark. Elevation tracks right where it should and returns to zero nicely. On sale at $799 there's no better value

I have 5 vortex scopes and will continue to replace my Leupold scopes. Hard to be the quality and glass in scopes at twice the price. Would like to see a plain thin line reticle as this one is a little busy, but it gets the job done. Buy this scope and you won’t be disappointed. I have recommended it to my friends and they all are shooting Vortex. Euro also has the best price I have found on the web with free shipping.

Very high value for cost in an FFP. Tracking perfect, 6 box test. Busy reticle but quite useful. Clear up to limits of magnification, slight edge blurring at max. Good eye relief. Makes me wonder why I previously paid over double the price for a Golden Eagle.
Recommend and would by again if needed.

Considering all the virus stuff going on, I was expecting the scope to ship around 5+ or so days after ordering. Nope. EuroOptics blew my mind and shipped it about 18 hours after placing the order. As far as the scope goes, I’ve yet to mount it on a gun but it is definitely worth the money. Illumination works great, turret clicks are very strong and the glass is really clear. Can’t wait to stretch it out once I get it on a gun
