Somewhat new to Vortex line. Have seen and played with many different brands, including Vortex. Talked to their people, settled on their scope for mount of a 50BMG. Couple hundred rounds down range later, ZERO movement of scope in mount at 18INLB. Remarkably clear. Zero holds. Have traveled with scope. Remount at destination proved same zero. Gun and scope traveled 3 very different climates, and other than adjustments for atmospheric conditions, was still perfect. Only thing I wish they could improve: eye relief. But more than adequate. We have since mounted Vortex optics on other platforms.

It performs better than expected. For the money, a great scope. After bore sighting I had rifle zeroed in three shots. I like the fine reticle. The center dot is fine and doesn’t cover the target even at 200 yards while the hash marks keep me from canting. The turrets are solid feeling with each 1/4 MOA adjustment distinctly felt. The off positions located half way between each illumination setting is great feature. I only have needed the extra help about ten minutes before dark at the range trying to finish a load ladder.
All in all, I would look at this same setup again for a long range scope in this price range.

I’ve been the owner of a Vortex Viper PST for a year and a half. Being a backcountry guide, I’ve been exposed to all forms of high end optics, I myself own several. My go to rifle which finds its way bouncing on 4 wheelers, farm tractors, combines and drug up tree stands, handles the extinction event of the varmints and predators that make home on our farm. After a year and a half of hard service, harvest being complete, I found the time to check the rifle. Zero stop works perfectly. 12 shots under a dime at 100 yards. Can’t ask more from a scope that has to work. Thank you Eurooptic’s for all your help!

Somewhat better glass and clarity than the venom o was runner BG in the same magnification range. Good parallax adjustment.

Just like new. Couldn't even tell it had been out of box. Definitely would do business again

I have a few of these on different rifles, mrad and moa, 5x25 and 4x16. On 7mm mag, 30-06, and 300 win mag. I hunt and live in Alaska. I reload, and have hundreds of rounds down range with these, I like these scopes. They have put meat in the table from 100 to 650 yards. I do like the second gen better than the first due to location of illumination dial. I do add a throw lever and flip caps. For the price point and features of this 30mm tube, rugged, ffp, ballistic turret optic you can’t go wrong. While “demos” they look pristine to me.

Scope worked like advertised. Sun shade threads are dented and will not thread on. Glass looks great. Happy with purchase.

As of yet, I haven't mounted it to the rifle because it's being serviced, but I can say that I am more than satisfied. Upon unboxing it, I noticed that despite being sold as a demo model it appeared to have never been touched. The controls are easy, the reticle is sharp, image is clear.
Excellent!

I have another one of these optics in a 3–15x44 and the clarity is much better. This one seems clear up to about 18 power and then it seems to get blurry. Even when focused out at 300 yards or so. The eye box is very unforgiving at 25 power. I was hoping for better but I’m really not impressed with this optic.
