Feels a little heavier than expected, seems to be more than stated.So far have not found the accuracy that i expected. Part of the problem is on me, i think part may be on the aluminum bolts that came with it. Can't wait to get some of the carbon bolts to see if it improves accuracy, for the price i sure hope they will. Overall i really like it. Only 25- 30 shots so far. With more practice and new carbon bolts I hope to be able to circumcise a horse fly at 30 yrds.

I was drawn to this crossbow because of the narrow frame, reverse limb system and cocking device. It was going to be alot easier to maneuver during my hunt. This was my first season with this crossbow and I am very happy with my purchase! I harvested a buck and a doe this fall and the crossbow worked flawlessly!

I actually purchased the Wicked Ridge NXT 400 and absolutely love it. The weight compared to my vertical bow is second to non. The axle to axle at full draw is amazing at just over 6 inches. The ten point trigger is also phenomenal. This is my first crossbow and i am highly impressed with every aspect of this bow. The design and attention to detail along with the hunter in mind is perfect. The price point in this bow was also a head turner. For a bow from ten point to be in the 1000 dollar price range floored me. The inly down fall i found was the wicked ridge stickers on the side of the riser both fell off in the box before i even opened it. Other than that I recommend this bow to everyone.

Bought as an upgrade to a Barnett of the same weight. What a difference a reverse draw makes with weight distribution. Makes the bow feel lighter than it is. Much easier to hold the bow steady for longer periods on target. Love the ACU draw pro compared to my my old unit. The silent cranking is nice and it's much easier to crank. Would like to see a de-cock function built into the ACU Draw Pro but not a big deal. Right out of the box it shoots very quiet with no mods. Zero vibration.

It is light and maneuverable. Unfortunately I have been able to hunt with it yet but am looking forward to testing it's accuracy in the field. If the RDX 400 is as accurate in the field as on the practice range, I'll have fresh venison next fall.

Well built bow! The balance of the Rdx 400 is what made me switch to reverse draw. It feels so much more natural then the nose heavy traditional bows. It is also very, very accurate, even right out of the box! This truly is the working man’s reverse draw bow!

The Accudraw cocking device broke after using it for only 6 draws. Otherwise the crossbow is decent. Had to send it back to TenPoint for warranty repair.

I'm impressed beyond belief to say the least. I've been an avid hunter for may years now and made the switch from compound to the Xbow because of an injury. Dabbled around with the Horton Xbows in the Mid 80's to start with and the RDX is leaps and bounds a different animal. This rig came with a crank to draw and there was a definite learning curve from using brute strength to cock to the crank but now is old hat. The power that this rig makes is unbelievable buries the bolt to almost the fletch on the high speed bags, so I can't imagine the bows that are more powerful and faster. Ten Point definitely are the leaders in the industry and will keep upgrading with them (if it ain't broke don't fix it).

After purchasing the RDX 400 I was quick to take it out of the box and set up a target. Wow I was impressed not only did it not very minor adjustments to zero it in at 50 yards it is fun to shoot. I have recommended this crossbow to several people and would purchase it again. This is definitely a quality bow with easy to use safety features if you need a crossbow you need to check this one out. Great job on the RDX 400 TenPoint.

I was hesitant to replace my trusty old Horton crossbow, but wow am I glad that I did! The RDX shoots FAST and ACCURATE. I shouldered every bow at the store without looking at the price, and the RDX400 just felt perfect with the reverse mounted limbs. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was very well priced.

After trying out a friend bow to start out the deer season early I was hooked. I researched and the internet and came across the Tenpoint web site. The crossbow was a great price and came with a scope and arrows so I would be ready to hunt as soon as it arrived. Assembly was super easy. Customer service was also great when I called about an arrow that was damaged after a couple of shots into a target that was rated for it. One call and a new arrow was on the way. They sent me a light alpha nock as well.

This RDX 400 has been a game changer for me. Its speed and narrow profile have been great in a tree stand and ground blinds. I will admit.... i did have issues with this bow in the beginning but ten points customer service is like no other. Been loyal for over 10 year. 5 year warranty and they had me back up in a week or two during archery. Hands down the best customer service i know or. Looked at the ravins. Ten point is crippling them. 5 stars

Great crossbow that is a good balance of value vs. features. The reverse draw makes it easy to hold and balance in the stand. You can shoot in a 2-3” circle at 30 yards, and I have no concerns shooting 50-70 yards while remaining ethical. A great deal for a 400 fps bow under the $1,000 price point.

I have had this crossbow for 4 years and I have had to send it in 4 times for repairs. The limbs have broke 2 times. The laminate was splitting and the pulleys were out of sync. The last time the limb broke it was in the back seat of my truck while driving home after a morning hunt right in the middle of peak rut. I would have given it 1 star but the crossbow did come with a lifetime warranty and customer service was good. Crossbow is accurate and fast but I am not sure how safe it can be with the limb problems I have been having. They had me switch to a different bolt and I still had limbs break or split.

This is a great all around crossbow. I harvest no less than 6 deer a year and my daughter will harvest 2-3 deer a year. If the deer is 50 yds or closer, it's in the freezer! I had this crossbow for 5 years and all I need is a new string which I purchased from ten point. Ten points reputation on standing behind its products is true. I had a issue with a wickedridge crossbow and sent to have repairs and the crossbow was returned in less than 2 weeks. Why go somewhere else? I am a loyal customer to ten point.

The RDX400 checked all the boxes I was looking for in a first crossbow (Price, quality, accuracy, weight and the package it came with) I'm not sure what performance improvement would justify spending more. My biggest hassle has been pulling the arrows out of a 450fps rated target, it will sink them to the fletching.

However, as I begin to practice for the 2023 season, I have been very please overall. The assembly instructions could have been more clear for the bow I have. Aluminum arrows seem like a step back in performance but the cost is much better than carbon arrows. The recommended Wicked Ridge Impact 100 gr. broadheads are curious to me. With a 2"""" cutting area, the width of cut is nice, but the fact there are only two blades leaves me to wonder about performance. I have always used three or four blades and love the large holes they make when penetraring deer hide. This makes tracking, which is inevitable, easier. Hope the two blades will be OK, but will have to see during the season. In short, TenPoint quality is apparent, and this crossbow is a great value and good bow for my first. Looking forward to the season and learning how to hunt with a crossbow."""

I've had it for two seasons and it has preformed flawlessly. Sighting in was a breeze and it shoots straight and fast. I did have to but a different target because my original one did not stop the bolts and I tore off a few fletchings. I've taken two deer and point of aim was point of impact.

Accurate, plenty of power, straight shooting. Reason for 4 stars in the bow string for the arrows. Where the arrow nocks, the string winding around the main bow string unravels after 10 - 12 shots. Replaced the string and the same result. Have shot without the winding, does not seem to affect the accuracy. Like the scope to be better in dim lighting conditions; dawn & dusk

I have had this bow for three seasons. Taken deer and hogs with it. Very accurate and would feel comfortable taking an animal out to 65 70 yards. After that the margins get too thin.

I was talking to pro-shop says newer bows are about a 200 shot and done because of extreme pressures needed to propel them at super speed. My bow is pushing arrows at around 400 ft. per second. fast enough to do the job and without extreme pressure. This bow will last forever. normal maintenance string replace etc. also shoot center punch arrows which increase accuracy all together best it can be

This crossbow is very accurate, kinda hard on bolts when sighting in or when practicing. The RDX400, while not claiming to be the fastest bow, shoots fast enough that it hard to see the arrow (bolt) fly. The cocking mechanism works great, although I do wish I had a later model with a decocker.

I am glad I decided to buy this bow. Best bow I have ever owned. Lightweight, easy to handle. The Franck is easy to use. The speed of the arrow after firing is unbelievable. If you don’t have one you are missing out. I have my bow sighted in at 100 yards. Dropped my first deer with it at 95 yards.

The quality of this bow is outstanding. Compact, easy to reload in the tree, accuracy is above other bows that I have owned. It's size and design makes for very little interferance when walking in heavy brush, Shot a turkey this year at 30 yards cutting its throat, great performance.

Of the four ten point crossbows I have owned, the RDX 400 is my favorite. After shooting 3 practice shots I took it hunting and shot a 20" wide 8 point. I came sighted in perfectly.

I've been looking for a high speed crossbow at a reasonable price. For the money, it's the best crossbow on the market. From the factory accurate. I've never had to adjust the scope from the factory. I like the illuminated scope particularly in low light conditions. Super fast. I previous owned a the Wicked Ridge Warrior and upgraded to this. TenPoint customer service is the best.

I have shoot the rdx400 several times with the pro elite arrows. I hunt with a friend that is the current owner of this bow. I throughly enjoyed the bows compact feel and balanced power. I believe the arrows could use some improvement though, sort of all over the place, hell it could be me haha. I currently shoot the PSE fang and after shooting the rdx im turning to ten point. The quality alone sold me, for that reason I’ll be a ten point fan for life.

When I first shot it At 20 and 40 yd it was dead on I have it cited in at 60 yd also which I figure is far enough I love the way it's built it is tough well manufactured I know it has a good warranty and awesome customer service and it's made here in the USA and in my State of Ohio. It is the crossbow I've ever owned and I'm already thinking of get another so my nephew can hunt with me . I have owned a PSE and the old standby Horton Max crossbows over the years, but neither compares to this one. It is quiet, fast, accurate, and reliable. The cocking system makes it easy to load while remaining silent. The included scope is good quality and easy to see through. The narrow design makes it easy to get the hard angle shot behind you while in a tree stand. The fact that TenPoints are made in America is a definite bonus where the market is flooded with subpar foreign products.

With the weight positioned foward it handles more like a rifle which I’m used to, so aiming and shooting it comes more natural. It’s my first crossbow ever and I am super impressed with it, totally awesome, plenty enough power and fun to shoot. Given time and more experience I might be able to offer insights on possible improvements but currently I can’t think of a single thing that I’d change, I mean nothing! Sure you can always upgrade the scope later if you want but the one that came with mine is good aplenty for out to 60 yds., maybe 70 or 80 yards if I was a better shooter. I am a “very satisfied “ first time customer.

The RDX 400 with accudraw is one of the easiest and most accurate crossbows that I have owned/used. The reverse limb design greatly improves the balance of the crossbow and improves accuracy when shooting from irregular positions. The bow has plenty of accuracy, speed and power for 60 yard kill shots. Highly recommended.

Wicked Ridge RDX400 - great bow for price point. Second Wicked Ridge xbow I've owned. both have been great to hunt with. I manually cock it and shoot it to decock it, which may be less appealing as I age. I have no reservations about recommending Wicked Ridge or TenPoint xbows

Second bow (first was invader g3, still shoots great) and I love it. Wanted the compact feel for stalking in palmetto scrub and love not dealing with the imbalance of the forward traditional limbs. Haven't shot a higher end reverse draw but can't imagine an extra $1,200 could have that much improvement.

Let's face it, crossbows are as expensive as a good hunting rifle, and sometimes a bit more. The RDX 400 is truly a working mans crossbow at a darn good price. Just don't be stupid and use mechanical broad heads. At 400 FPS mechanical broad heads get bent and twisted to the point on non-functionality after one shot hitting bone. Stick with fixed blades and you will be stunned by the speed and power. Complete pass-throughs are the norm. Use premium shafts and accuracy is under 2" at 50 yds. The narrow width of the reverse limbs makes silent creeping through the pines possible. That's everything I need to bring home the bacon, or venison.

This is my third crossbow and I am glad I went with the RDX 400. It is a step up in speed from my Horton RDX and the additional speed has definitely increased the range at which I am comfortable taking shots on deer. I used to limit shots to 30 yds but this crossbow takes it out to 40. I took three deer and a turkey during '22 seasons using this bow and all the shots on the deer were 35-40 yds with no noticeable string jumping. It does balance nicely and I have not experienced any of the string or limb issues noted by other reviewers. I put some LImbsaver dampeners on the limbs and it is pretty quiet for a crossbow. I believe the primary advantage of the more powerful bows is the ability to shoot heavier bolts at higher speeds. My arrows weigh 475gr with 125gr BHs and 500 with 150s . This bow will push them out at 365-70 fps. They punch through bone and I generally get complete pass through even on quartering shots. Paired with an EOTech Xbow sight this is a highly effective weapon. With the arrow set up above the 20yd dot is dead on out to 30 and the 2nd dot is 3" high at 40". That's flat shooting. Glad I stuck with Ten Point / Wicked Ridge!
