Description

The Zeiss Victory SF 8x32 has pristine German glass. It features a smooth and more precise handling of the focusing system. An additional click stop has been integrated into the rotating eyecup for a total of four click stop positions to choose from. It now comes with black armoring for increased protection from the elements. The Victory SF has been designed with the Ergo Balance Concept that helps to reduce fatigue over long viewing periods. It comes with a 509ft field of view and has a minimum focusing ability of 6.4 feet to infinity.

After trying 7 pairs of Alpha binoculars this year, I have found the absolute best pair that money can buy, for my use anyhow. These 8x32 SF's are a step above the only competition that they really have, the Swarovski EL's. I tried both the 8 and 10x32 El's as well. They both have very rough focus wheels, unlike the silky smooth Zeiss SF. The EL's show a considerable amount of veiling glare and flare in bright conditions, even bright overcast. The SF's handle glare far better. The difference in a direct comparison is night and day. I also tried the 10x32 SF's, and while they are very good as well, the 8's have a larger exit pupil and thus were more forgiving in eye placement and were easier to adjust the eyecups to avoid kidney bean blackouts. The 8x32 SF's are truly great binoculars!
