Description

This left handed green Accuracy International AT .308 Winchester rifle has a folding stock, 24" non-threaded barrel, adjustable cheekpiece, sling points, pistol grip, 3 position safety, two-stage trigger, flat-bottomed action, 20mm diameter close fitting bolt with six locking lugs, one-piece extractor, and corrosion resistant magazine.

Continuing in the legacy of the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare (AW), the AT (Accuracy Tactical) weapon system provides military, law enforcement and civilian shooters battle-proven features, including:

20mm diameter close-fitting bolt with 6 locking lugs and AI one-piece extractor. To minimize hand movement, the short 60° throw bolt is positioned close to the stock, and just above the trigger.
The AT's action is flat-bottomed steel, and is bolted and bonded to the full-length aluminum chassis for rigidity.
QD flush cup sling attachments are located on the main chassis - two rear, two above the pistol grip, and two forward.
QuickLoc barrel release system allows for barrel removal and refit in under one minute using only a 4mm hex wrench.
Cheekpiece is configurable for lateral and height adjustments.
Large, recoil-absorbing butt pad increases comfort and allows the user to adjust rifle length of pull using the included spacers. Different butt pads are available as accessories
Pistol grip is replaceable in minutes and can utilize different backstraps.
3-position safety is based on the design of the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare (AW) battle-proven system.
Two-stage trigger features an adjustable pull weight of 1.5-2.0kg (3.3-4.4lb) and is removable for cleaning via (2) socket-head screws.
Includes 10-round corrosion-resistant, low-friction magazine.
Optionally, a co-planar night vision device mount is available as an accessory.

This is my favorite rifle in my collection. Until I had purchased this rifle I had built a few Remington 700 clones and thought I was getting good accuracy at 1 moa. I had always wanted an AI so when I had the money I thought what the heck if I was going to do another build I'd spend at least the same amount doing a custom build so I chose to buy the AI instead. It saved me the time looking for all the parts I'd need and I didn't need to wait for all the parts to arrive. So my rifle arrived I took it out of the box and went to the range. It was as smooth a silk with a crisp light trigger pull. I didn't even need to fully break the barrel end to get great groups. In fact at first I thought there was a problem with the rifle. I would shoot 5 shot groups and it looked like I had only hit the target once. Looking through the spotting scope I saw just one hole so I shot another group. I got the same results. Well upon closer inspection of the target both groups I had shot had not only hit the target they had all hit the same hole. The accuracy of this rifle is amazing. I had heard AI's were like custom builds from the factory and they truly are. I have custom build and they are all capable of moa groups but none of them give me sub moa groups like this one does. I highly recommend this rifle.
