Just got mine a week ago it's on my rem 700 5r mil spec and it is worth the wait. Tightened the group jet bolting it together.

I am totally happy with this AX II Chassis . I had the first version and I was happy with that one too. This one the hand guard is much easier to mount (2 captive screws). I like mounting my Bipod on a Picatinny rail as far forward as possible and that is easy to do with this chassis. I like the cheek height adjustment better and the adjustable length of pull is great. One draw back is there does not seem to be any AI accessory monopod for this chassis. Sure you can mount a Atlas but I found that type of monopod gets in my way of my shooting hand when folded up and I do not always use the monopod. The monopod available for the series one AX chassis, although super expensive, was perfect. 1.25 rings will clear a 50MM objective with possibly some very slight trimming of your lens cover or 1.375's will clear with room to spare. Curiously though I have the 1.375 rings and I have the cheek piece at the very bottom of the adjustment range. And, I do not think I have a big face. Just something to consider if you want to try shorter rings. Ergonomically I LOVE shooting off this chassis. It is rock solid and CRACKS when the rifle is discharged. In my last one the actions screws never turned when re-torqued, ever.
