Alex Sepkus is well known for taking inspiration from nature when creating his hand-crafted jewelry pieces. These earrings, in particular, have a nautical inspiration. They are inspired by shark teeth – and created in 18K gold with a unique, organic pattern that is reminiscent of underwater sea life.

These earrings close with a one-piece clasp. The clasp is built from a pebbled 18k gold material, and each clasp contains one brilliant-cut diamond. A hinge allows these earrings to dangle freely below the ear, and the clasp holds on tight to ensure that they stay in place.

Below, the "Shark" inspiration for these earrings becomes clear. A long, pointed pendant style is reminiscent of the aggressive shape of a shark’s tooth. The gold is worked into dozens of circular inlays, with a blackwork design that helps outline them on the body. The circular patterns curve gently around the pointed, tubular earring design.
