Description

ArmaLite Inc. proudly introduces the new AR-31. The AR-31 shares the design and the accuracy of our highly acclaimed AR-30A1 bolt-action rifles, but with three MAJOR differences: the AR-31 is chambered in .308 Winchester, it is a short action version of the AR-30A1, and it accepts Armalite???s AR-10B double-stack magazines. That means you can use 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 round mags with the AR-31. For sub-MOA accuracy, think ArmaLite???s AR31!

For medium to long range targets, this is it. Buying one very very soon.

So far I am very pleased. I just finished breaking in the barrel with 60 rounds of factory ammo. I then loaded 2 ladders of customs ammo. One on powder, and one one BSD. The powder optimized at 44.0 gns. Varget with 175g SMK bullets. The BSD optimized at -.017 off the lands. Bullet speed was at 2610 FPS. Best group size was .10 MOA at 100yds. on my first day. Doesn't get any better. Don't start at this near max load, and BSD. Always work up for safety concerns.
