The BT-15 was designed between Swiss arms manufacturer B&T and the German arms manufacture Haenel Defense for use by the German Army. The BT-15 takes much of its design from the AR-platform, but has several significant improvements. One of the most notable is the quick-detach free-floating handguard with M-LOK attachment points. The BT-15’s internals have also been optimized with a removable cam track and a chromed bolt carrier for easy cleaning and maintenance. In addition, a flared mag-well and oversized bolt release has been included for fast and intuitive reloads.
