Christensen Arms delivers the future of carbon fiber firearms with the Modern Carbon Rifle (MCR). It features a stock with Flash Forged Technology (FFT), a proprietary and advanced manufacturing technique that does away with the status quo of “overbuilding” a product in order to meet safety standards. Instead, Flash Forged Technology creates an extremely lightweight structure that exceeds strength and safety margins without compromising performance. The FFT stock utilizes an aerospace monocoque shell to eliminate the unnecessary internal weight found on traditional composite stocks, resulting in a stock that’s a full pound lighter with a sturdy and more consistent shooting foundation. The FFT stock is perfectly complemented by the free-floating carbon fiber wrapped barrel. The barrel is given a sleek black nitride finish and is topped with a side-baffle muzzle brake to mitigate recoil, but this can be replaced with a suppressor or other muzzle device. Married to the barrel is a Remington 700 style action that features an enlarged ejection port, a skeletonized bolt handle and an integrated 20-MOA picatinny rail. The action is rounded out with an adjustable trigger made by TriggerTech.

In addition to it’s lightweight and proven action, the Modern Carbon Rifle offers a whole host of other contemporary features. A modernized hybrid grip angle accommodates correct hand placement and a push-button cheek piece promotes proper alignment between the shooter’s eye and a mounted optic. Ergonomics and handling are further enhanced thanks to an adjustable length-of-pull spacer system. Additionally, the Modern Carbon Rifle supports accessories such as bipods and tripods thanks to full-length M-LOK attachment points and an integrated picatinny rail on the forend. Like all Christensen Arms bolt action rifles, the Modern Carbon Rifle comes with a sub-MOA guarantee.
