Crispi's Summit II GTX Boots are ideal for hunting, trekking, and backpacking especially in rocky terrain. The come standard with a proprietary Vibram Mega-Grip outsole with a tread pattern designed to provide maximum grip and stability to keep you secure in uneven, wet or tricky terrain like a blowdown forest. The sole's material is composed of a "tacky" rubber that provides additional grip in wet environments. The Summit II is made from a combination of high quality suede leather and an advanced synthetic material called PUtek which consists of a nylon base woven with threads of polyurethane. This high-resistance fabric is lined with a full surround Gore-Tex Performance bootie to ensure maximum waterproof and breathability. These two materials rhelp create a boot that is highly breathable, fully waterproof and incredibly resistant to punctures. Additionally, the Board Lasting Mechanical Construction achieves the perfect connection between torsion rigidity and flexibility thanks to a mechanical process that wraps the comfortable and soft part of the upper to the insole frame.
