The CZ75 P-01 was designed for military and law enforcement applications, but its lightweight and compact size makes it perfect for concealed carry as well. This aluminum-alloy framed, low-profile handgun is equipped with a de-cocker making it perfect for individuals who prefer to carry their handgun with the hammer down. This carry method adds an additional level of safety, as the first trigger pull is heavy, with additional trigger pulls being in the light, crisp single action. Like its full-sized counterpart, the CZ75 P-01 is highly ergonomic due in part to a curved frame designed for a perfect fit in the shooter’s hand, and a tang that extends over the web of hand provides protection from hammer or slide bite. This handgun is also the first CZ model to benefit from updated manufacturing technology at CZ’s Uhersky Brod factory. The upgrades allows components of the P-01 to be interchanged with P-06 models without the need for individual fitting. In addition, the CZ75 P-01 has been extensively tested to ensure reliability. During testing, the P-01’s average number of stoppages was only 7 per 15,000 rounds fired, giving the pistol an impressive failure rate of just .05%.
