The DTSS (Desert Tech Sound Suppressor) was designed to enhance accuracy, repeatability, and minimize impact shift between suppressed and unsuppressed fire. Testing shows consistent accuracy improvements of nearly 0.25 MOA when shooting with DTSS installed. In testing the DTSS showed vertical impact shift of less than 2 MOA on all units tested between suppressed and unsuppressed firing.
The DTSS conveniently installs over the SRS-QD Brake. A patent-pending baffle design tightens the silencer as gases impact the baffles and prevents the silencer from loosening during high volume fire. Many competitors use a ratcheting lock to prevent their cans from loosening. Distance between ratchet teeth allows a minor play even when tightened, which will degrade accuracy.
