The Desert Tech SRS A2 Conversion Kits can be broken down into 4 components: the barrel, bolt, bolt stop, and magazine. Most of the upgrades from the Desert Tech SRS A1 to the SRS A2 conversion kits can be found on the barrel. The SRS A2 and SRS A2 Covert barrels have increased fluting length both forward and rear for weight reduction. Desert Tech has also fluted the clamping section of the barrel for addition weight savings.
