Elcan’s SpecterDR 1.5x/6x represents a major leap forward in magnified rifle optics. Unlike the majority of magnified optics that rely on twisting a magnification ring, the SpecterDR 1.5x/6x utilizes an innovative throw-lever to change magnifications. This allows the user to instantly switch between the 1.5x and 6x magnifications, making the SpecterDR perfect for both close and mid-range engagements. The SpecterDR’s close/mid-range capabilities are further enhanced by the optic’s illumination function, which can be used to illuminate the entire crosshair for longer-range targets, or illuminate a bright center dot for accurate close range shooting. Other features of the SpecterDR includes a generous field of view which remains the same at both 1.5x and 6x magnification, as well as a wide field of view for greater situational awareness. In addition, the SpecterDR 1.5x/6x includes an XOPTEK Micro Reflex sight for a close-range aiming solution or as a backup sight.
