Most scopes in the 4-12x range are longer than they need to be, adding bulk that gets in the way on shorter-barreled rifles or builds where balance actually matters. The EOTech Vudu 4-12x36mm Ultra-Short Riflescope takes a different approach — at just 7.1 inches, this super short 4-12 from EOTech delivers full first-focal-plane performance without the extra length weighing down your setup or throwing off the rifle's balance point.

Being first-focal-plane means the MD5 MRAD illuminated reticle scales with magnification, so holdover and windage references stay proportionally accurate whether you're dialed down to 4x for a closer shot or cranked up to 12x for something further out. That consistency matters a lot once you're actually ranging targets in the field — you're not stuck doing mental math to adjust for magnification, the reticle just works the same way at every power setting.

Built from aircraft-grade aluminum, the EOTech Vudu 4-12 housing is genuinely rugged, standing up to shock, fog, and water without hesitation. Capped 0.1 MRAD click turrets give precise, repeatable adjustments that stay put until you actually want to change them, and a single CR2032 battery powers the illuminated reticle for reliable visibility in low light or fading conditions. The integrated mount is part of what keeps the whole package so compact, trimming the overall footprint on the rifle compared to scopes that require a separate mounting solution.

Whether it's riding on a hunting rifle, a tactical build, or something set up for target shooting, this optic covers a lot of ground without asking the shooter to compromise on reliability or clarity to get there.
