Geissele 10.5" M-LOK MK8 DDC Super Modular Rail 05-1657S was one of the first Geissele rails built around M-LOK back when that mounting standard was still new, scaled down here to a length that suits shorter-barreled carbines and SBRs.

Machined from 7000-series aluminum and Type III hardcoat anodized in Desert Dirt Color, this Geissele Super Modular Rail MK8 locks to the receiver with Geissele's proprietary 2.25" barrel nut - longer than a standard nut, which means more surface contact with the receiver and a rail that stays straight and true even after you've pulled it off for maintenance and put it back on. M-LOK slots sit at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock plus the upper 45° quadrants, so you've got real placement flexibility instead of a fixed accessory layout.

The lower 45° quadrants are vented pretty heavily, which is a big part of why this Geissele MK8 10.5 comes in as light as it does - 9.9 ounces bare, 12 with the barrel nut installed. That's genuinely light for a full free-float rail, not just marketing language.
