This Geissele 6mm ARC build runs a 16.25" cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel with a 1-7.5 twist, manufactured in-house rather than outsourced — which is a big part of why Geissele can guarantee the tolerances that make 6mm ARC's flat trajectory and ballistic coefficient actually show up on target instead of staying a spec-sheet number. A rifle-length gas system through an Antistrike Super Compact Gas Block pairs with the Phased Array® gas system and Tri-Port™ metering, cutting recoil impulse enough that follow-up shots stay fast without fighting muzzle rise.

Full ambidextrous controls carry the same layout across every Geissele GFR Recce variant — left-side magazine release below the Maritime Bolt Catch, dust-cover-actuated bolt catch/release on the right. Inside, the Nanoweapon®-coated Reliability Enhanced BCG runs a forged Carpenter 158+ bolt, built to outlast standard bolts under high round counts. A 15" MK16 rail with Geissele's Center Tab mating and the Geissele SBS buttstock round out a setup built for duty, hunting, or competition without picking one over the others.
