Geissele Automatics
Geissele MRGG 6.5 Creedmoor 20" DDC Rifle 08-529S traces its lineage straight back to a SOCOM program — this is the civilian version of the Geissele MK1 MOD0, adopted and battle-proven as part of the Very Long-Range Semi-Automatic Sniper System requirement. That's not marketing lineage, that's the actual origin.
This MRGG 6.5 Creedmoor build runs a 20" cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7.5 twist, cut for 6.5 Creedmoor's flat-trajectory ballistics at extended range. Geissele's patented Phased Array® gas system paired with Tri-Port™ metering runs through a Strato gas block with an .812 journal, keeping recoil impulse and follow-up shot timing consistent even as the barrel heats up over a long string. Billet upper and lower receivers, Type III hardcoat anodized, give the whole platform the rigidity match-grade accuracy actually depends on.
The Geissele 6.5 Creedmoor platform's MK18 rail runs 17.5" with an integrated ARCA-Lok bottom rail, useful for bipod and tripod mounting on precision setups. Inside, the Nanoweapon®-coated Reliability Enhanced BCG runs a forged Carpenter 158+ bolt, and the SSA-E two-stage trigger delivers the kind of clean, repeatable break long-range shooting actually rewards. A Magpul PRS Lite stock, flared magwell, and oversized trigger guard round out the ergonomics.
This Geissele MRGG hands precision shooters the same rifle SOCOM tested at .58 MOA average across ten units — no compromise between duty-grade durability and match-grade accuracy.
