The Geissele Super Duty MOD1 5.56 NATO 14.5" 1:7" CHF  08-547S upper ships as a genuinely complete assembly, not a barrel and rail waiting on the rest of the parts. Bolt carrier group and charging handle come installed, so mating it to a compatible lower is close to the last step in getting it running.

At the core of this Geissele Super Duty MOD1 14.5 upper is a 14.5" cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7 twist, pinned and welded to a HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device to bring the overall assembly to a legal, non-NFA length without giving up any of the barrel's actual performance. A mid-length gas system paired with Geissele's Super Compact Gas Block keeps cycling smooth and consistent across a wide range of 5.56 NATO loads.

The upper connects to a 13.5" MK16 rail through Geissele's center aligning tab, giving plenty of M-LOK real estate for accessories while keeping the whole front end light. Geissele's Reliability Enhanced BCG handles cycling, built around the Stressproof Bolt and rated for a service life well past a standard mil-spec bolt, while an Airborne Charging Handle rounds out the build with ambidextrous, low-snag operation. The receiver itself is 7075-T6 aluminum, Type 3 hardcoat anodized for real corrosion resistance.

Finished in Desert Dirt Color and weighing 4 lbs 3 oz, this 14.5'' complete upper pinned and welded assembly is built to run as-is once paired with a compatible lower.
