In this limited edition kit, you’ll find MR556A1- 5.56 NATO Semi Auto Gas Piston Rifle with (3) 30 round magazines, the trusted HK45 handgun with (5) 10 round magazines, and a HK 70th Anniversary commemorative knife. All items are adorned with a 70th Anniversary logo and finished in a "Battle Worn" Cerakote Black and Red finish and sealed in Heckler & Koch’s Explorer case. MR556A1- 5.56 NATO

Created for civilian use, the MR556A1 is a semi-auto descendant of the military and law enforcement favored HK416. Hot carbon fouling and waste gas do not enter the receiver area, eliminating many common gas function system malfunctions. This is credited to a HK proprietary gas-piston operating system which uses a piston and a solid operating ‘pusher’ rod in place of the gas tube normally found in certain firearms.The MR556A1 also has a Picantinny rail machined into the top of its upper receiver for mounting optics and mechanical sights. Unlike earlier prototypes, major subassemblies, including the MR556A1 upper receiver/barrel assembly, are fully interchangeable with other high quality AR-style firearms. MR556A1 upper receiver kits can be used to retrofit competing legacy AR systems.Like the famous HK416, the MR556A1 uses a German-made barrel produced by Heckler & Koch’s famous cold hammer forging process. The highest quality steel is used in this unique manufacturing process producing a barrel that provides superior accuracy and long service life. A precise enhanced two-stage trigger adds significantly to the accuracy of the MR556A1 and an extended latch charging handle makes operating the rifle with a telescopic sight easier. Special target rifle takedown pins ensure the upper and lower receivers are firmly mated for accurate performance.Designed to function with a wide variety of high quality 5.56 x 45 mm ammunition, the MR556A1 uses a C.I.P. dimensioned chamber (a chamber with dimensions specified by the Commission Internationale Permanente). The MR556A1 also functions reliably with most quality Caliber .223 Remington ammunition.

HK45

Developed as an improvement to its predecessor, USP45- released in 1995, the HK45 handgun includes user-inspired enhancements such as changeable grip panels (backstraps), a Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, better ergonomics and more ambidextrous controls. In conjunction with its little brother the HK45 Compact, the HK45 was developed as a possible candidate for the Joint Combat Pistol, and Combat pistol programs administered by the US military in their search for a new service handgun to replace the 9mm M9. Due to the suspension of the programs prior to completion, no handguns were selected.Recoil is reduced by as much as 30% thanks to the HK’s unique internal mechanical recoil reduction system. This improves shooter control during rapid fire and increases service life. The HK45 can be fitted with threaded barrels for installation of muzzle mounted sound suppressors. Employed is a quickly accessible improved USP-style control lever. A frame mounted combination safety and decocking lever that returns to "fire" position after decocking.Although well-suited for personal defense, the HK45 can be converted to a wide variety of variants that use different trigger firing modes, including double action/single action (DA/SA) and DAO (double action only). The DAO mode uses the unique Heckler & Koch LEM (Law Enforcement Modification) firing system for improved double action trigger pull. Manufactured with high quality steel and a cold hammer forging process, this handgun provides superior accuracy and long service life.
