JP Enterprise’s JP-5 Steel Challenge Carbine was designed for the rapid-indexing of the Steel Challenge, and has been optimized for speed and accuracy. The JP-5 achieves this with considerable weight reductions in the form of a Mission First Tactical Battlelink Minimalist Stock and a Titanium Competition Series muzzle device. Weighing in at a mere 6 ounces, the MTF stock features quick detach sling slots with single point mounting, and an angled rubberized buttpad to accommodate faster presentation even when wearing body armor. The Titanium Competition Series muzzle device on the other hand features optimized ports for an extremely balanced and neutral fire, and redirects muzzle gasses to cancel out a large portion of recoil impulse and greatly reduce muzzle rise. Other features of the JP-5 Steel Challenge Carbine include the M-LOK Series handguard which utilizes a lightweight construction of 6061-T6 aluminum with full M-LOK compatibility and a full length picatinny rail in the 12 o’clock position.
