The Kahles K540i 5-40×56 DLR sets a new benchmark in long-range optics. With a massive 8× zoom range (5–40×), a large 56 mm objective for excellent light throughput, and a robust 36 mm maintube, this scope is built for serious distance work. The first focal plane SKMR4+ reticle ensures accurate hold-offs at any magnification. Both elevation and windage turrets feature high-precision 0.1 MRAD clicks and are configured for CCW rotation; the windage turret is on the right side in this model. Ergonomics are optimized with a parallax adjustment integrated into the elevation turret and a “Twist Guard” windage turret design to prevent accidental movement. New for 2025, the Kahles K540i 5-40x56i sets a new standard for long range optical performance. When compared to its predecessor the K525i, the K540i 5-40x56i boasts a massive 40% wider field of view, measuring in at 30.6 feet – 3.9 feet @ 100 yards. The K540i has also been optimized with an exceptionally comfortable eyebox even when set to the highest magnification. Additionally, the K540i is available with a massive assortment of reticles designs – all of which are illuminated.
