KRG 180-X-ray Chassis CZ455 with folding W3 buttstock BLK

Description

Kinetic Research Group’s 180 X-RAY was designed for those who want a chassis for a .22 trainer or a Howa 1500/Weatherby Vanguard. The 180 X-Ray uses the 180-Alpha front end and the polymer X-ray or the Whiskey-3 (fixed or folding) can be used for the buttstock.

Forend

Mounting holes will take L2 Picatinny rails, QD sling mounts, etc
Access hole for action mounting screw (allows the action to be removed without the forend being removed)

Chassis

V-bedding system that is CNC’d into aluminum
Can take larger aftermarket recoil lugs
Will accept barrel contour up to 1.2” straight cylinder (Lighter contour such as medium palma is recommended for extra barrel clearance)

Trigger Guard/Mag catch

Can take some aftermarket triggers
Howa chassis has the extended release button as an optional item
CZ Chassis uses factory magazine well and release

Cheekpiece/Handgrips

1” travel
Quickly removed and re-installed using a clamp and thumbscrew design
Simple feature allows the cheekpiece to return it to the exact height it had been set
Cheekpiece can move forward or backward

Buttpad has vertical adjustability with a hex wrench (pattern is for a Remington 700 which allows for installation of aftermarket pre-fit pads)
