The legs are attached via 3-angle pivot locks for extending the legs lower and wider to accommodate a wide array of positions and angles, and tactile twist/lock segments are quick and easy to use. The Mark 5 Tripod features an ARCA-Swiss compatible base for cross-platform versatility, and utilizes 1/4x20” threading on the bottom for any tripod plate that isn’t ARCA. An aluminum ball head delivers smooth, precise movements in the field, and a counter weight hook allows more weight to be added for greater stability.
