Amazing quality. The glass clarity is unparalleled--especially in low light. I used this in a sniper class somewhat hesitantly, knowing that most people would be running 4-16x and 5-25x optics. The BDC was very close to my chosen load, so I only had to make minor tweaks to use it. I was shooting .308, and my bullets would go trans-sonic before the 1km line. But this optic performed all the way through what my gun could do. I was consistently getting hits out to 900m. The 6x max made it difficult to perform target identification beyond 500m or so, but if I could find my target with a spotting scope then I could hit it with the MK6. My only complaint is that the illumination sucks. But you don't really need the illumination at all until it is dark.

Very solid build with crystal clear glass. At the current price it’s a great value. I now have one on an APC 308 and the other on a LWRC REPR and the reticle is perfect for both.

To be frank and up front: I'm not a huge fan of LPVOs for many reasons - they all have terrible eye boxes, the reticles are a compromise, they're bulky, and no matter what, they're always at the wrong setting. This scope is the one exception for me. Don't get me wrong: it still has a bad eye box, but the reticle is amazing (reminds me of an ACOG or ACSS reticle), the glass is crystal clear, and it's light as a feather. The illumination is also bright enough for daytime use. All the good points of this optic - the glass, the weight, and the reticle - are enough to overcome the negative aspects of an LPVO for me. I've sold my other LPVOs, but this one will stay.

I have now purchased two of this optic, both with the 7.62 CMR-W reticle.
In my opinion the glass clarity, reticle and functionality of this optic are exceptional for it being an older optic, but combine that with the discounted price and I feel like it’s absolutely outstanding.
At 1x I personally don’t notice any fisheye or untrue 1x, and the illumination works just fine. True, the L/R variance in the eyebox is a little unforgiving, but it’s an elongated LVPO and that’s to be expected.
I use both mine on 5.56 rifles despite the reticle being the 7.62 version (that was the only option at the times of purchase). I had these scopes while living at locations both at sea level and higher desert altitudes. I zeroed the 300m line in the reticle to precisely 300m and found that 50m, 100m and 200m were darn near perfect, then a small hold over at 400m. All well within the noise and dependent on MV and ammo being used. At 500m+ things started to separate.

I am very happy with this scope. I mounted it on a KAC SR 25 and took it to a week long battle rifle class. We shot abou1200 rounds in a combination of standing, intermediate, and prone positions, mostly at 400 yards or less and at multiple target types. The reticle worked very well with the M118 or equivalent handloads I was shooting.
