MDT's Polymer/Metal Magazines improves upon the tried and true AICS-style magazine. The combination of metal and polymer provides the best of both worlds: the lightness of polymer and the ruggedness of metal. The lower polymer portion features a clear window on both sides for viewing how many rounds are loaded, and the metal feedlip assembly contains the latching boss for significantly increased durability. An added benefit of this configuration is quieter magazine changes, this is thanks to the smooth metal surface for easily sliding the magazine in place, while the polymer body keeps it soft and quiet.
