MDT SRS-X Elite FDE Buttstock Dampeners 107249-FDE

MDT’s Rubber Dampeners (AKA Jellies) are easy to install and seriously improve your shooting experience. They take much of their design from the limb dampeners found on compound bows, and provide virtually the same function. When the rifle is fired, the Jellies dissipate the recoil energy and harmonic vibrations transferred from the barreled action into the chassis. This results in dampened shots, reduced recoil, and a “dead feeling gun”. The reduced vibration and recoil allows the shooter to spot impacts more easily and get back on target faster. An added benefit of the Jellies is reduced snag points, and a new, unique appearance on the buttstock. Available for MDT’s SRS series of buttstocks, the Rubber Dampeners installed by pressing them into the openings on the buttstock and hold themselves in place via friction and dry lube – no special tools necessary.
