Description

This Merkel 47E is a 12-guage shotgun with a 27" barrel and a case hardened frame. The shotgun is outfitted with a traditional walnut stock with a full pistol grip. This shotgun features switch behind the trigger for barrel selection.

Bought one of these from EuroOptic as advertised on this page. The LOP is not 14&3/4" but 14&1/4". The barrels are not 27", but 28". How they could get that so wrong here with the dimensions is beyond me, but 28" barrels suits me better that 27" barrels and 14&1/4" LOP suits me better that 14&3/4" LOP so I can't complain. If they'd have listed the dimensions more accurately I would have bought it sooner. It is a beautiful piece of goods, handles like a dream and kicks lightly, needs no recoil pad.
