All of Peterson’s Cases are made from premium materials and is precisely machined for quality. The cases begin as a long coil of top-quality C260 brass, which is then cut into “cups”. These cups are then put through a draw-press three times to elongate them into tubes, before being trimmed-to-length and washed for the forming process. The rear of the tube is then given a “pocket” for the primer and the extraction groove is cut. After that, the “mouth” of the case is tapered to form the “neck”, and the case is trimmed-to-length again. The flash hole is punched in the primer-pocket, and the mouth and neck are given an induction anneal to properly grab the projectile. The cases are washed again, and are finally ready to be loaded.
