The Sako 85 Black Wolf was designed for the discerning long-range hunter, and offers excellent ergonomics and versatility. The Black Wolf is outfitted with Sako’s signature 85 action, which features the controlled cartridge feed system to eliminate potential cartridge jams or double feeds, and the position of the bolt handle places the shooter’s hand in a natural position during bolt operation to accommodate rapid repeat firing. The laminated walnut stock features a pistol grip designed to completely secure the shooter’s dominate hand to provide optimal control over the weapon, and also promotes proper alignment of the trigger finger with the trigger. The stock can also be finely tuned to the user’s preference in terms of length of pull and cheek height, and a wide forend with a rounded profile is included for benchrest style shooting.
