Description

The Sako Safari rifle chambered in .375 HH Magnum is a classic safari rifle in function and elegance. Designed on the Sako 85 long action, this Sako Safari offers traditional Sako features such as mechanical ejection, a machined dovetail on the receiver for scope mounting, and control round feed to ensure reliable cartridge feeding in all hunting situations (Pat.pend.). A secure magazine release prevents against accidental magazine discharge (Pat.pend.).

The single-stage trigger is adjustable from 1 kg to 2 kg (2 to 4 lbs). The Sako 85 Safari safety features a mechanism that allows loading and unloading of the rifle with safety engaged. A hinged floor plate allows the fixed magazine to be loaded with up to 5 belted magnum cartridges.

The Sako 85 Safari Rifle features a traditional straight oiled walnut stock with red recoil pad and ebony forend tip. This rifle comes with open quarter-rib type rear sight, band type windage adjustable front sight, and a cold hammer forged barrel.
