I purchased this rifle three days before deer season and mounted a Burris 4.5x14 fullfield to it. It took three shots to get the rifle on target after bore sighting it. I then shot a three shot group with 130 Grain Nosler .270 customs. All three were touching at approx. 1/2 moa. This group proved to not be a fluke as the gun continued to shoot five round groups well under one moa with a warm bore. I love this weapon!!!
Thanks, Tom Ankrom

I was attracted to this rifle due to my Tikka T3 experience. The only thing I didn't like about the T3 was the cheap synthetic stock. I ended up buying a Bell & Carson Medalist stock for it and am very happy. The thing is, once you buy the T3 and the B&C stock, you have spent the same amount as buying the A7.
The A7 has additional features that the Tikka lacks. The 24.5" barrel, 3 lug bolt, enhanced safety features and weaver mounting system to name a few.
I put a 3x9 Conquest on my A7 and it is a shooter. MOA so far, but that is based on 20 rounds of Hornady super performance. Thinking groups will tighten as I experiment with ammo over time. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the aluminum Weaver bases that come with the rifle. Since the rifle is drilled and tapped, I went with 2 piece bases. I debated on installing a picatinny rail, but wanted easy access for single shot loading.
Nice rifle, great adjustable trigger. I don't think anyone would be disappointed at this price point.

I recently purchased a Sako A7 Roughtech Pro in 270 Win. This rifle is built for serious use. For me Barnes 130g Tipped TSX BT’s printed 1/2 MOA at 200 yards. And with Nosler 140g Ballistic Tips Ammo I was able to shoot right at 1 MOA again at 200 yards. One little tip. My rifle likes to be handled lightly. If you try to muscle the shot it won’t shoot well. This is a Mountain rifle to the core! I actually shot better off of bags than I did a lead sled

Just bought , is light and a work of quality , Is hard to find the best bases for a scope . I now have them & going to have the rings lapped for best accuracy can't wait to shoot . This is my first 270 to own , I've always heard they are flat shooting & a great rifle out to 400 yds . I'm going to try to get some hand loads for a 140 grain bullet if possible

Beretta, Sako and Tikka have never disappointed. There is an inherent quality that unmistakable. I highly recommend this rifle!
