This is to date the most accurate rifle I've ever owned, 1200 yards (steel targets at the impact area 200 yards past the paper on a 1000 yard range) was consistently attainable in low wind, and 3/4" groups at 300 yards on paper were also par for the course. Thanks to EuroOptic for providing these.

First time owner of a Sako TRG 22. Prior to purchasing I did a lot of research on what was considered a very accurate and reliable out of the box .308 rifle. Wow!! Every positive review I read about the Sako TRG 22 has proven to be correct. With a bipod, factory only ammo thus far and digital calipers I am seeing the vast majority of 5 shots groups in the .21 to .438 MOA at 200 yards. The Sako TRG 22 is definitely as "accurate capable" as advertised. As a side note, other than cleaning the factory oil out of the barrel I have not cleaned the barrel since (240 rounds) because I'm a believer in more shooting and less cleaning. Still shooting sub 0.5 MOA. Adjustable cheek piece and adjustable butt stock work very nicely. Phosphatized barrel finish is a nice touch.

For starters I didn't purchase this from Ero optic and that was the dumbest decision I ever made, I went into a local gun shop in Baton Rouge (hint) 13 years ago and paid out the ass because I could walk in an actually purchase one and walk out. I have many hi end precision rifles. This and my A.I.'s are my favorite. This Sako out shoots my Scalpel and A.I. The action is as smooth as butter and the trigger is incredible. I also own the TRG-42. I don't shoot that as much but it too is an incredible rifle. The only annoying thing was the manufacturer specific items that are costly. If you can swing the cost just go ahead and buy one. And please for the love of god buy it from these guys.

This is my "go to" rifle. I have AIs and Custom built rifles (700s and other platforms), but the TRG ends up getting the most action. Couldn't be happier with the Weight, Balance, Trigger (probably the best around) and the performance out of the box. Similar to the AIs, it is a durable platform that can outlast the elements. Plus the short angle throw is easy to get use to. Will feed anything and deliver it accurately but when you find the right reload, this thing will drill holes.

My friend and I each have this rifle. Most accurate out of the box rifles we have ever fired. 5 shot groups at 100 yds are dependably 1/2 minute. 300 yd groups about the same. Highly recommend. We also have these rifles in 338 lapua. Groups just slightly larger. Couldn't be more pleased.
