Description

New for 2022, Schmidt Bender’s 6-36x56mm PM II Riflescope is optimized for medium to extreme long range, and comes fully equipped with new and exclusive features. The 6-36x56mm PM II Riflescope is highly suited for competition, and like all of the premium riflescopes in the PM II collection, the 6-36x56mm is manufactured to the MIL-STD-810G standard to handle the harshest environments. Another feature the 6-36x56mm PM II Riflescope shares with all the optics in the Schmidt Bender family is an outstanding image quality. This is apparent in the 6-36x56mm PM II’s 90% light transmission, as well as a field of view for excellent detail recognition.

One of the 6-36x56mm PM II’s more notable aspects is the NEW “Leucht-Parallaxe Integriert” or “LPI” feature. LPI, German for “Illumination Parallax Integrated”, combines the illumination control with the parallax knob, allowing for the easy and intuitive operation of both. The LPI feature removes the old, rearward mounted illumination control; this provides more mounting options by freeing up space on the scope’s tube, and also makes the 6-36x56mm PM II more compatible with left handed rifles. The LPI’s illumination knob has 11 settings, with an off position between each setting to save battery life and to allow the shooter to easily find their previous setting. The parallax knob on the other hand starts at 20 meters and goes to infinity. Both knobs are clearly distinguishable by size and rippling, and the engravings of each knob are easy to read and adjust while in a shooting position or while wearing gloves.

The 6-36x56mm PM II also features the NEW P5FL reticle. The P5FL resembles the popular pattern of Schmidt Bender’s well-known P4FL reticle which was initially designed for military snipers, and has been well-proven around the globe. Reflecting the ongoing technical evolution, the P5FL represents a slight upgrade without forcing the operator to get used to a completely new reticle design. It is also perfect for competition shooters and modern hunters alike who prefer a clean reticle design, which is reduced to the most important essentials without distracting features. Those who are already enjoying the P4FL reticle will find confidence in the new P5FL reticle.

Other features of the 6-36x56mm PM II include an elevation adjustment range of 35 MRAD to support more precise long range shot placements, and features a throw lever-compatible zoom ring. In addition, the 6-36x56mm PM II is available with the new P5FL reticle, and can be upgraded with different turret configurations.
