Sig Sauer takes one of its most formidable handguns, the P226, to the next level with the P226 ZEV. Developed between the design teams of Sig Sauer and ZEV Technologies, the P226 ZEV comes fully equipped with an array of upgrades to both enhance the performance and appearance. Ready to shoot right out of the box, the P226 ZEV is outfitted with a Romeo1PRO micro red dot sight. The Romeo1PRO is combat-ready, and utilizes a 6 MOA dot for quick and accurate target acquisition, as well as Sig’s exclusive MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination System) which activates the reticle when movement is detected and deactivates it when motion ceases. The P226 ZEV features a stylized slide, with lightening cuts in the front, and cocking serrations that wrap around the sides and top of the slide to allow for more efficient slide manipulations with the attached micro red dot. The custom ZEV Tec frame is made from durable yet lightweight aluminum alloy, and is given a black hardcoat anodized finish to stand up to the elements. To ensure superior ergonomics, the P226 ZEV features Hogue G10 grips with Piranha texturing, as well as an undercut trigger guard that places the shooter’s hand in an optimal position. In addition, the P226 ZEV utilizes a stylized ZEV Tec barrel with 1/2x28 threading for suppressor use, as well as a stylized thread protector.
