The Sig Sauer SIGM400 Predator 5.56 NATO rifle features a quick-detachable ambi-sling mounts, Hogue aluminium free-float handguard, SIG overmolded grip, 5 round magazine, 18" stainless steel threaded and capped barrel, and a 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminium forged lower receiver.

Based off the classic direct-impingement AR-15 action, the Predator offers a series of enhanced features for hunters in the field. In its 5.56mm offering, the SIGM400 is perfect for small game such as prairie dog, or predators like coyotes. The versatile 300BLK cartridge can be used on game from feral hogs up to whitetail deer. A top picatinny rail allows for optics to be mounted. SIG's tough, durable hard coat anodized upper and lower receivers fend off the elements, while a 6-position MILSTD telescoping stock allows the SIGM400 Predator to be fit properly, even when wearing heavy winter clothing. This rifle comes with a 5-round detachable box magazine, making it compliant with most state hunting regulations, but also accepts any STANAG AR-pattern magazine.
