The gold-infused ExpeDRY treatment promotes evaporation, giving the Kelvin HyperDown synthetic-like performance in wet weather. A series of strategically placed zippers allows the Kelvin HyperDown to be "worn" while standing up – this feature is perfect for glassing, cooking, and other activities that require the users hands and feet to be free while also keeping warm. A 10D ripstop nylon shell provides abrasion resistance when outside the tent, and an adjustable contoured hood provides complete protection from the cold.
