The Active Insulation also helps keep the bulk of your outfit to a minimum by serving as a mid or outer layer depending on your needs. The exterior of the Ambient Jacket is composed of 20D ripstop nylon fabric for durability against brush and briers, and a water repellent finish easily sheds moisture and light precipitation. Other features of the Ambient Jacket include a mechanical stretch to promote a full range of unrestricted movement, and a drop away hood with a stand-up collar that provides extra protection from the elements without impeding your peripheral vision. In addition, the Ambient Jacket features zippered hand and chest pockets for storing your essentials.
