The Sons of Liberty Gun Works Broadsword Billet/L89 Upper Receiver is a high-rigidity, precision-oriented barreled upper group designed to host both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition with match-grade accuracy. It features the Broadsword-89 billet upper receiver, which is significantly reinforced along its entire profile to reduce flex and harmonic interference between the barrel, handguard, and optics. This model is equipped with a 14.5-inch Precision SPR 416R stainless steel barrel that includes a pinned and welded (P&W) HUXWRX flash hider, bringing the permanent overall length to 16 inches and avoiding NFA registration. The assembly is completed with a 13.75-inch L89 Drivelock handguard that utilizes a titanium barrel nut and a three-point locking interface to provide the most rigid two-piece upper construction offered by Sons of Liberty Gun Works.
