Springfield Armory SOCOM 16 M1A is power in a small package. It was designed for the shooters that wanted a compact rifle but didn't want to settle for a smaller caliber. Even with all the power in a 7.62 NATO, the shooter can expect less felt recoil and muzzle rise due to the unique design.

SOCOM 16 M1A has a 16" barrel, mated gas system with proprietary muzzle brake. It has an enlarged ghost ring aperture rear right, XS Tritium Insert in the front sight, and a forward scout style Picatinny mount for optics.
